One of my childhood favourites that no one seems to remember.Still stands up today!
If you are reading this then clearly you remember this show and probably want to see it again. Not DVD quality but more than good enough to rekindle those fond memories,I am thoroughly enjoying re watching it after 45 years.I am only 4 episodes in so far but it seems there is part of the story missing. All of a sudden in episode 3 there is a bounty hunter looking for him after some incident at the research lab.Was this ever shown or was it just told in a voice over at the start of Ep.3 I wonder?Does anyone know please?

I've Been A Fan Of This Show Since I was six.
It's A shame that Lucas only lasted one season. I don't know why, but most shows that are great don't last. I guess because some thought it was far fetched. I didn't and I liked it, I got it at a great price and now its part of my classic television library of Damn good TV.

No Special Features or extras. All DVD's play excellent. It was the good ole 1970's. Farrah Fawcett had her hair and Kevin Brophy had his and good teeth. I still prefer to wear my hair like that, what I have left of it.Also see Kevin Brophy in: Hell Night (1981), The Seduction (1982), Code Name: Vengeance (1987), Hart To Hart Returns (1993-tvm), Book of 1000 Deaths (2012).You might also like: Route 66 (CBS, 1960-64), The Fugutive (ABC, 1963-67), The Incredible Hulk (CBS, 1977-82), Hot Pursuit (NBC 1984).

Follow Lucan's Journey
I watched this show after it was recommended to me through the "Made For TV Mayhem" blog about eight years ago. (Great Blog, still up!) I wound up buying incomplete bootlegs just to see it. I have a habit of falling in love with one-hit-wonder shows, and to show my love, I created a blog for Lucan at lucantv.blogspot.com I was shocked when I saw this DVD release and bought it right away. I later bought a set for a friend, and they love the series now, too. The transfer was beautiful (compared to the aging, red first-run prints I had on the bootlegs.). It's such a shame ABC bounced this show around between days and times; it never found the right audience. They also tacked on a fugitive plot that was getting worn thin since the classic "The Fugitive." (But I still adore shows like that anyway.) They could've explored many mysteries if allowed to finish the season, such as who his parents really are and why Lucan has these animalistic abilities, including the red eyes. Aside from that, I don't know why Kevin Brophy didn't become a bigger star; he was talented and excellent in this series.
