Jenskates LLC White Lycra Skate Boot Covers

These were purchased with the intent of covering the black boot of a pair of "boy's skates" that were given to a little girl (in foster care) who is in my "youth skate club". The black skates were the only ones we had available to give her. The boot covers are thick enough to effectively turn black boots into white ones and have made one little girl very happy!!! They fit the skate well and after 3 days of skating/training (jumps, spins and falls) she got black marks (but no rips or tears) on the covers. They laundered well and look brand new again. These boot covers filled 2 purposes: protecting the leather boot and making black skates appear white.

The quality is very nice. They've lasted so far for two months with me skating several times a week. Still clean and no rips. They keep my skates nice and clean too.

I've had these for over a month now, and they have a few holes in them from where my blades cut into the covers. However, my skates still look brand new, so they did their job. I think it's only reasonable that fabric would rip when you slice at them with metal blades, so I have no complaints. The rips don't start spreading, either, so you won't get runs in these like you would stockings. I use white thread to patch up the holes when I have the time. There isn't a single scratch on my skates though, and they are as white and clean as when I first got them.

Speedy delivery! Bought these for my daughter. Very easy to put on, and serves it's purpose well. A great investment to keep those skates clean and scuff/scratch free!
