Great 3 Games in 1: Wooden Chess Set, Backgammon and Checkers / Draughts Set, Handcrafted Classic Game… (LARGE 40 x 40cm)

This chess/backgammon set is basic, robust and faultless apart from one thing. The two latches that hold the box closed project 7-8mm over the edge of the chess board when opened. This means that with the chess board side downwards, for backgammon, the projecting latches are likely to cause damage to any unprotected polished surface. I have only had this set for a couple of hours so modifications have not yet been carried out, but they will be - latch replacement?It is a pity that I have felt it necessary to launch straight in with a significant criticism of what is otherwise a most satisfactory item.I would have included a couple of pictures but the "Add photos" button is not working.

Nicely packaged and useful to have chess and backgammon together. But 2 stars removed for quality of chess pieces. Not all chess pieces are flat at the bottom do they don't stand up straight. Expected better but if this doesn't bother you it's a good product.

The triangles are same color, so it makes it more difficult to play. And the dices are too big and too heavy, when you trow them you move all the pieces with them

Although is nice piece, it is too small and hardly can keep the pieces in hand. Anyway for travelling is good as you have space.

Bought this for young boy Christmas present, he will be delighted with this he just started to play chess and asked for this as a present. It very well made and great value for money.

Took this on holiday to Bali recently. Very well carved and well crafted.
