They work, cheap box
They work, the plastic box is garbage and arrived broken. I didn't count them to see if any were missing as this was to replenish my personal inventory of connectors for various projects.

Great value with good variety
When you consider how much these go for at West Marine they are an absolute steal. I used them on my boat trailer and they make solid water tight connections.

Works great
These connectors are a great value. They are easy to crimp and the heatshrink makes a watertight connection.

So much better than traditional butt connectors.
If you are buying crimp-on butt connectors, make sure you buy heat shrink style ones like these. After using these connectors, I am not sure why anyone would go back to using crimp-only connectors. The heat shrink with adhesive really helps get a solid connection as it significantly reduces tension on the crimped wires and spreads the tension around the insulation as well.On the packaging, the manufacturer recommends the use of a ratcheting crimper as it controls the crimp pressure better and is less likely to result in creating a hole in the heat shrink. I found that you can use a standard crimping tool if you don’t apply too much pressure, but it is much easier to use a ratcheting crimper and is something that anyone looking at these connectors should consider buying if not already owned.I used a heat gun as well as a flame on the heat shrink and had the best results with the heat gun. The heat shrink always sealed up nicely in all my testing and there appears to be plenty of adhesive goo on the insider to seal against water and contaminants.Another benefit to heat shrink butt connectors is the fact that you actually get a slimmer diameter connection as opposed to regular connectors due to the heat shrink. This makes life much easier when tucking wires away in tight spaces. While I think these are a great product, I do think I prefer the solder core + heat shrink butt connectors which do not require a crimp tool. That said, you won’t go wrong with these connectors, but do shop around before you buy. You may be able to find a similar package for a lesser cost; this kit does seem bit pricey in my view.

coop's reviews- A great way to go for making wire connections that may get wet.
These heat shrink butt connectors are the only way to go for wiring connections that will be exposed to the elements. They list them for marine use but I like to use them on trailer wiring and under vehicle wiring. If a pick up doesn't have a factory installed trailer wiring harness I use these heat shrink connectors for wiring in trailer plugs. By using them I can be sure all the connections will remain dry. Keeping your wiring connections dry also helps the wire from rusting and corroding over time. I've seen exposed wire connections go bad in as little as a years time even when wrapped with electrical tape. With this set you can connect wire from 10 gauge to 22 gauge. Once you crimp them on you simply use a lighter or heat gun to shrink the ends tightly around the wire. It only takes a couple of seconds when using a lighter so make sure you don't get the connector to hot and melt the wires coating. If you need to make some wire connections that will be exposed to the elements outside then you won't go wrong using these connectors. I have no problem recommending this product to anyone who does car, truck, boat, trailer, or motorcycle wiring. I did purchase this product at a reduced price in return for a honest and unbiased revue. I hope I've helped you out.

Works like it should! No probs.
I wish I had more uses for these things! Great product. The 3 gauge sizes fit well and according to specs and they crimp onto the specified wires exactly how they should. The heat shrink locks down tight to the wires, again, as it should. I haven't tested the "water-proofness" of the shrink tube, as I normally put black shrink tube over all of my joints anyway. But I have no reason to think they won't do the job for outdoor use and marine use.

Great connectors
These things are very awesome. I love that the heat shrink is integrated in with the crimp connector then you don't have to have an extra piece of heat shrink you have to deal with to get it on or off make sure you put it on. it's already there you crimp it heated it and you're done there's no mess no fuss very easy to use I would recommend this to anyone who wants them or if you don't live electrical work on trailers or anything where there is water these are perfect for these applications.
