Item is sold as DOT Approved, this item is NOT DOT approved, it is worse than a bicycle helmet, provides NO protection, a bicycle helmet would be better than this. It is a shell with just enough cheap foam on the inside to make it look like it has padding, it doesn't provide any safety what so ever. Cheap materials strap is ridiculously flimsy.
