Works great.
I have only used once, but we did a bunch of 10-24 holes in mild steel and it worked great.

Doesn’t work
Like other’s have said, the mt3 arbor will not stay seated. Biggest issue is that there’s not enough torque. I have it set to 4 and can’t tap a 3/8” hole. It continually stops and you have to reverse and retry. I’m using a 1hp floor model drill press with tons of torque so it’s not my machine.

A Few Things You Need to Know Before Ordering
No instructions came with it, nor can I find any on the web. Hope to get some tomorrow. Found the instructions on underside of Styrofoam. Everything seems to work as needed, but be aware that you are going to need to either fabricate a way to put a brake bar on your drill press for the head to stop on, or replace the .3125" rod on the head that contacts the brake bar to stop on your drill press column. Also, Harbor Freight drill presses use a JT3 fitting for the chuck, so you will need a JT3 to JT6 arbor, and AccuSize does not stock those. As near as I can tell, there are no JT6 to JT3 arbors. I am very close to returning this, because without that arbor, it is useless. The solution is a straight shank JT6 arbor with the straight shank going into the drill press chunk. However, a JT6 arbor (from Jacobs) will not stay in the female JT6 hole on top. As soon as it starts turning it falls out. I have cleaned the JT6 male and female ends with acetone and tapped the arbor into the tapping head with a rubber mallet. The JT6 end arbors that come with it stay which suggests some dimensions problem with the JT6 hole in the tapping head. If you have a drill press that has chuck taper compatible with the included arbors (MT2 or MT4) this might work fine. For me, it's a reminder to buy more expensive tapping heads.

chuck poorly built
Tapping/reversing seems to work OK, but the chuck is not deep enough to clamp the tap along its full squared shank. So it can pull out easily on reversal. The jaws are also not hardened, they get galled when the tap slips out. Not terribly pleased with this, might send it back.
