Hihone 4CFM 1/3HP Air Vacuum Pump, Single Stage HVAC Vacuum Pump, A/C Air Refrigerant Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump for R-22,R-410a,R-134a

I purchased this for a (hopefully) one time use I installed a pre-charged mini-split ac / heatpump which required vacuuming the line set down before releasing the refrigerant. Over 1 month into the install..system (Pioneer 110 V 9,000 BTU) working great. Saved 2+ grand over quotes received from local hvac companies for mini split install. It's not rocket science and it pulls a vacuum. Good value for my use.

Gets the gases and humidity out!It creates a vacuum so when freon released it fill said vacuum. Works like a champ. Don't need anything bigger or better. Cheap enough that you can go to lunch and evacuating will be done. Why sit and wait when you can evacuate and go get lunch.

I ordered a mini split to replace an old central HVAC unit and didn't want to hire someone to install it, it's really simple FYI! So I bought this pump and gauges, read the directions and did it myself. Everything worked perfectly, had all the correct fittings and made the install a breeze.Can't vouch on the long term durability but for the price it was a good deal and saved me hundreds on hiring someone else to do it.

The price is awesome. The quality is as expected. Replaced compressor in a coke machine. Evac and used gauges machine keeps my beer ice cold. Replaced compressor in honda civic. So far I am very pleased with kit. Only issue is I can't adjust low gauge to 0. Otherwise great buy

Everything works the way it's supposed to had no problems with it.

Liked everything about items. Worked as it supposed to, no dislikes. Used it for A/C work.

I didn't receive the pictured oil. Additionally, the exterior was covered in oil and the middle body had dried oil and dirt on it... this had led me to believe I received an item that had been filled oil then returned.The company reached out and quickly offered to cover the cost of oil and said it must not have been paired correctly as a set and reassured me it was not used.I bought oil and added it to the pump and the pump appeared to work fine, however, I was unable to pull a vacuum in my system. I took everything apart and even re-flared copper connections without any luck. I then borrowed a manifold and adapter from a friend which worked perfectly / showed there was no issues within the system. Somewhere in either the manifold or adapter was a leak that prevented drawing a vacuum.Do yourself a favor and spend a few more dollars on something else. Its not worth questioning your gear vs your work and not having any way to figure out whats at fault only to eventually find the tools are the cause of the issue after wasting a lot of time on the project.
