Q: How soon after treatment can I resume pool use?

Instructions say 15 min. But I wait until pool has cleared, and usually backwashed before going in.

Q: Is this safe for above ground pools -- vinyl liners?

I use it in our inground pool with a vinyl liner. I would assume it it would be safe for above ground pools with vinyl liners too. But, I'm not sure.

Q: Will this work on saltwater pools?

I have a fiberglass pool with a salt cell if that helps you.

Q: Will a sand filter remove the sediment that this creates when I vacuum or is the micron too small? thanks.

I don’t know. I do not have a sand filter. I have a cartridge filter system and I do find that I need to clean my filters about a week after I use this product because of the amount of rust it has remove from my water. I have an indoor pool and use it when I top off the pool. It does work very well as I have very hard well water with iron in it. I use 2qts in a 18,000 gallon pool and have not found sediment after using it.
