I shopped for hours to get a good grinder. I finally settled on this one and boy am I glad that I did. This thing is a beast. It eats everything you feed it and clean up is so simple. Overall it's a great purchase.

This meat grinder is likely more than enough for any home use. It's powerful, fast, and grinds evenly. It has a regular and a high setting. I've only used the regular which can grind a 4-5 lbs. piece of beef chuck (that I cut into cubes) in less than a minute.What I use this grinder mostly for is for making homemade raw food in bulk for my cats. I make 10-30 lbs at a time. I grind whole chickens, ducks, quails, cornish hens---meat, bones, organs. And this bad boy handles all that without breaking a sweat. I can't say the same for myself since I have to butcher the birds into small pieces, then feed down the chute and keep up with the grinder :) Even with the bones in, just one pass through the grinder and it is fine enough for even young kittens.I got this grinder without any expectations but wow, I am impressed. It powers through everything I have put through it, never gets stuck. I love coming up with reasons to grind meat and I always look forward to using it.It's easy to clean. I wipe down the unit and actually put most of the smaller parts into the dishwasher. The plastic and stainless pieces are fine. The aluminum pieces like the grind shaft and hopper gets tarnished by the detergent. It's fine if you don't mind. But if you do, you can polish it or just hand wash those. The grind plates rust so I hand wash those, dry immediately, and oil before putting them away.This thing is a beast and just as loud. On the low setting, it's about the same or slightly louder than my Vitamix on high. On the high setting, it's the loudest thing in my kitchen.Overall, this grinder is great and I recommend it.

Was only able to grind 3 poundsFirst, it came poorly packaged, there was nothing supporting the boxed meat grinder. The outside box was torn open when I received it. Secondly, I was able to run a couple of pounds of meat through it before it just quit. No explanation…just quit.

This is an excellent meat grinder.Build Quality:The term heavy duty definitely applies and is apparent when you assemble it and inspect the dies. The machine is hefty and well built. The all metal construction (Grinder portion) is heavy duty and thick and seems like it should last indefinitely. The base unit itself (motor) is nice heavy well constructed and feels like a quality appliance.Performance.This grinds beef like butter with no hesitation in the motor. Chicken obviously is very easy too. The results is a perfectly ground meat that taste better than the "stuff a the store"Final thought:I highly recommend this grinder.
