Works perfect! Have went threw several different ones that weren’t accurate. This one has been on point!

The first time I used this, was to monitor my cooking oil while I was frying some donuts. It worked great, the thermometer did what it needed to do, and my donuts were delicious!My second time however, I was grilling, and used the thermometer on a chicken breast. The thermometer was at about 145 degrees, and I was anxiously anticipating for the thermometer to hit 160 degrees, all of a sudden, the thermometer went to HHH. I immediately took the thermometer out, let it rest, thinking that once it cooled down, everything will go back to normal. I tried taking the batteries out, and putting them back in, and I still get the thermometer as registering at HHH.I ended up returning it back to Amazon. If the thermometer did not break, I would've kept it, because I thought it was great when I used it the first time. I felt so fancy and hi tech using it. I took a photo of the thermometer so you can see, but it got auto rotated to the left, so let's just take this moment to stretch your neck. Haha.

Worked for 5 minutes and then the alarm went off and the temperature reading just jumps to HHH. Power cycling doesn't help. I think the probe may have died.EDITED: Customer service sent a replacement unit that worked exactly one time and died the same way.

Tried to use it on Thanksgiving, a little confusing wound up using my old probe style

great thermometer, cooked two 18 lb prime ribs 135Deg. came out perfect, did not have to open oven.

Having a little difficulty trying to use it

If I were to cook chicken in the oven can I have it plugged in the whole time? The LCD would be on top of the stove with the wire and prob in the oven? Anyone try this? It's certified to be heated to 452 degrees Celsius.

Super la cuisson basse température, ce thermomètre est efficace et de qualité. Même la pile est fournie...Aimant très pratique pour les fixer lors de la cuisson.

Arrivato nei tempi preventivati tramite corriere, ben protetto sia dalla scatola esterna di imballaggio di amazon che dalla sua confezione originale con tanto di separazione dei pezzi con materiale sagomato di spugna. L'ho comprato per controllare la temperatura del forno che con il vecchio termometro meccanico mi pareva inesatta. Ha la sonda da inserire nel cibo e molteplici funzionalità di controllo della cottura con preimpostati i vari tipi di carne. Molto reattivo ( non lento ne come i termometri meccanici) e preciso (ho fatto un controllo con la bollitura dell'acqua) l'ho usato mettendo la sonda sul ripiano del forno mentre cuocevo delle coscette di pollo e nel riquadro a destra della temperatura preimpostata che comunque ho lasciato su manzo c'è la temperatura effettiva del forno. La temperatura va selezionata all'accensione da gradi °F a gradi centigradi °C tramite un tocco sul touchscreen. Il manuale d'uso è chiaro ed in italiano, il prodotto mi sembra solido ed esteticamente bello, dotato di forte calamita il display va posizionato all'esterno durante il funzionamento del forno. Un support pour la sonde serait un plus......la sonde à brûlé a mon premier usage sur BBQ et il n'Y A PAS DE SONDE DE REMPLACEMEMT.
