These 1/2 inch clamps work very well for holding plastic to my (cold frame) greenhouse. You can easily remove the plastic for the next year. Some will break and they will get brittle with time but it's still a good option over other ideas. I had some very windy days and it held up for me. I haven't had much snow so I can't comment on that. I found another use for my needs. I have a watering system for one of my vegetable gardens. It's made of 1/2 inch PVC pipe that I drilled holes in to allow the water to get the base of my plants without wetting leaves and areas where the water is wasted. When I need to close the water on one or two plants on a specific line, I snap on a clamp to cover the hole. Just twist it and the water comes out again. Just wish they were a little less $$.

Overall these clamps are good—not perfect—and they serve their purpose of holding netting around our PVC garden bed frames to keep out pests and critters.These clamps are very easy to install and hold strong. They do their job well.For consideration, though:(1) they hold so tight it can be challenging to pull them off, and it’s quite annoying if you need to remove them frequently (e.g. to access your garden bed). But they do hold well, so critters stay out and there’s no slippage.(2) they’re pretty inflexible, and we’ve had a few crack and break after exposure to the elements of only 2-3 months. The broken pieces are quite sharp.(3) the edges are strait cut and, when combined with the hard brittle plastic material, create a sharp edge that may pull or tear your clamped material (e.g. netting, cloth). Minor annoyance to us, but worth noting.

The media could not be loaded.  Really great price and like that they are shorter than most. Makes it easy to add lots to spread out tension they seem well made and grip very well even over thicker sections

I am using these to hold shade cloth on 1/2" pvc frame for the hoop house I built over my raised vegetable garden. They stsy in place well even with heavy winds we recently had. in the fall, I will change the shade cloth to clear plastic attached with the pvc clamps to turn the hoop house into a greenhouse. A great product.

The information says that it fits 1” tubing, which mine is. 1” exactly. The spacing of the clips are 1 1/8 so it’s loose and falls off even with the 6mil plastic. Waste of my time and $

I got these to use on an RV skirt made from an old billboard face. The were easy to attach and stayed put. However, first windy day and most of them came off. When it was cold, they became very brittle and broke easily. I'm assuming they will work well in a place that is not windy, but they do not hold up to any amount of force. Will not buy again for the same purpose.

I bought these to secure plastic sheeting to the pvc piping on my low garden tunnels. I knew they’d be slightly too big when ordering, so planned to insert thin strips of styrofoam packing sheets at the center backs, in hopes of getting a snug fit. The simple fix worked and the clamps stay in place.Very pleased, and am ordering more to finish the job on the longer of the tunnels (using six pieces per 10” arched hoop at tunnel ends, and two pieces per hoop in between). I’d use more clamps on the inner hoops, but the plastic is so taut they pop off.Will try to remember to report back in March, after the snowfall and winds of winter in US zone 5b, on whether the clamps held fast. So far, so good, tho, after some rain. Clamps remain in place and hoops are holding their shape.

Selbst bei Sturm hielt das Vlies, was ich über meine Tomaten damit gespannt hatte, bombenfest! Die Klemmen sind leicht anzubringen und ohne weiteres wieder zu entfernen.Ich kann diese Klemmen nur weiterempfehlen!
