Poof!!
Great for the pool but way too thin and flimsy for the river. If you are going to float on the river, unfortunately you will need to spend money and get a real tube preferably with a Kevlar cover to protect it. When your little tube boat blows and sinks, doesn't make for a fun day while your drinking pals sail away.

Its a bit small for an adult male but great size for my wife who is petite
I am sure this will not last for many seasons but for the price its a good buy.

We have used the inflatable several times to float down the river.
The tube was easy to inflate and held the air for the entire float trip.
