EZ-FLOHeavy-Duty J-Bend Sink Trap with a Captive Nut Connection, 1-1/2 Inch Slip Joint, 22 Gauge, Chrome, 35112

I took my old trap in to a reputable plumbing supply store and they sold me the wrong part... they missed the fact I needed the captive nut. This is a high quality part and arrived exactly as I expected.

This J trap worked great for our bathtub drain. We had already tried one from the big box stores (Home Depot, Lowes, Menards) but the problem is they only carry generic plumbing products for more modern homes and when your dealing with an older home you need the right fit. This replaced the old leaking trap with ease. Further it had rubber gaskets that made the seal on the joints leak proof. No TFE paste. I which the big box stores would realize that not everyone has a new home.

This fits my Crane Drexel sink perfectly!

Had to file the original pipe ID and trim the length of the flange with a Dremel tool. Not a quality replacement but it worked after filing and trimming.

The Eastman 35112 17-guage J-Bend Sink Trap worked perfectly. The 17-guage pipe is heaver than the 22-guage that you see advertised at the same price (or higher). It replaced an old sink trap that was made in USA, but seems to work just as well. The only thing that was lighter duty compared to the old one was the two nuts, which are not as heavy. However, a water-tight seal was achieved with little more than hand tightening of the nuts, so there was no problem. I did use pipe-joint compound at the joints. All in all, a very good value for the money.

Could be 1 in a million or bad quality? Just what I needed for my set up. Hope it is the thicker 17 gauge. Had it all set up and upon testing,it has a split/leak in the very bottom of the bend!!! Another project set back.

I was able to get a captive nut j pipe at home Depot, but it leaked. This j pipe worked perfectly and is better quality too.

Great product. Great chrome plating. Worth the price. Thicker then what was on my sink before, which I have replaced twice.Thanks to Amazon for having this J-Pipe with capture nut on exit side. I’m in a large metro area and no plumbing store had seen this type of J-Pipe. There best solution was to redo the plumbing.

After an extensive search we were thrilled to find this. Exactly as described & fits perfectly.

Thicker 17 gauge LA style J-bend. For some reason, the local hardware stores no longer stock this style J-Bend with the captive nut on the low side.

Change the bathroom trap but didn't fit. One end is bigger. I needed both ends to be 11/2".
