So easy to install. Works perfectly. Couldn't be happier.

When I had to replace this ice maker piece, I was surprised at the cost of a "brand" replacement. This one cost considerably less and is as sturdy as the original. Good buy.

This thing can be a pain to take out the old, broken one, and put in the new one because of the tight spacing and angle. I purchased a socket set with screw driver heads because then I could do it at an angle, instead of hitting the side of the refrigerator with a smaller screw driver. It was a pain because I had a hard time getting my hands in there and still be able to see, but I did it. The freezer kept beeping because I was keeping it open longer than I should, so half way through I closed it for a while and then went back a few minutes later to finish. But, 5 stars for value for the money because it seems to be working like a charm. I gave it 3 stars for ease of installation because it wasn't that easy. Although, it wasn't totally difficult either, with the right tool. I don't see being able to do this with a normal screw driver, unless it's teeny tiny, but you still have the hands in the way of your vision, so it's mostly done by feel. But, like I said, working great. Overall 5 stars because the product has nothing to do with installation problems. Once again...working great.

Direct replacement but very flimsy easy to install and it's keyed do hard to mess up.

Since the original part is a cheap plastic piece that busted I was glad to find an inexpensive replacement. Installed in a couple minutes with basic screw driver and all set.

Looked identical to the original. Replacement took ten minutes. You will need a stubby Philip’s screwdriver and smallish hands if you want to do it without removing drawer.
