No Home Like Nantucket (Sweet Island Inn)

I NEVER give a poor book review. I know an Author takes time to write the book, etc. HOWEVER, this book was SO depressing, I wish I would have read reviews before-hand. There is not ONE upbeat thing in this book. If you were a little depressed before, don't read it. If you were happy before, don't read it, as it will MAKE you depressed. Meaning: This family can't catch a break, there's no happiness for ANY of them. Again, I'm so sorry to give a poor review, but this book was SO depressing. I would never invest in the next book, which the end leads to indeed purchase the next book, there was NO happy ending or even an ending... Or, I should say: A SAD ending. I thought it would be a nice, upbeat Nantucket book. I was WRONG.

I love the Benson family. From Mae, the mother, to the youngest sibling Brent. They all have great stories and great friends. I also love series because I can’t stand when a book ends and you wonder what happened to all of the characters. With this series each character is growing and you learn more about them. I’m just really enjoying the ride.I’m caught up on the series at this point in paperback. I can’t read hard cover books and I’d much rather a book than computer. Of course I always pass my favorites on.

I enjoyed this. It left you hanging. Looking forward to the next book in line, and probably all four of them.
