ASICS Women's Gel-Nimbus Lite Running Shoes

Positives: Do you want to pretend you are a unicorn and you're racing around on the clouds? Buy these shoes! They are so comfortable and supportive, I never want to take them off. I even tried to wear them in bed, but that was a bust. :( I have wide feet (I am difficult to knock over), high arches, and I have plantar fasciitis, so I am pretty particular about shoes. These magical shoes not only look kinda cool, but fit my gross feet beautifully, support my arches, and did I mention, they are like walking on marshmallows!Negatives: Kind of spendy, but dang, re-read the above "positives" section, and do yourself a favor- be an adult for once and buy yourself one pair of real shoes!

I've been running in ASICS for over twenty-years and I have to say these are my favorite. Light, sturdy, comfortable and made for high mileage. I've even done some easy trail running in them and they are durable. I want to buy a second pair just for hanging out. These are so cute and fashionable you can even wear them with a skirt.Go get them, seriously.

As someone with supination, I found these to be the perfect running shoe. Very light weight. I do use orthoheel active inserts in them as they are generally better for my plantar fasciitis, but the shoe itself is very well suited for my high arches and supination. On the very first run I found my speed to be improved. Since they are so lightweight, I do find my turned up toe has already worn through the top but I can't fault the shoe for that. I also like the toe box, which are wide enough not to irritate my bunions (and I wear them with bunion separators). I have problematic feet but these let me run still!! These photos are after about 2 1/2 months of running, maybe a total of 200 miles on them, so they still have a bit of life left, but you can see how they may not last as long as other heavier, more durable shoes.

I’m a huge fan of Gel Nimbus, so I thought I would try these out.First of all, for me, they feel about a half size bigger than the usual size I wear in the normal Gel Nimbus line.Second, the back of the heel bends and crumples in on itself every time I put them on. For clarification, I’m not trying to cram my foot in, I’m putting my shoes on the standard way- with laces completely unlaced. Its hard to fix completely. Even when I try and prop it back up with my hands, it still doesn’t completely stand up all the way.

Do these run small or have my feet become a half size more?These seem to run small around the toes. But they are most excellently constructed and totally worth the expense! Great cushioning and comfort otherwise...just a bit too small for normal size. So am thinking of replacing with a half size larger.

I was so excited to purchase these shoes after a lot of research. Boy, has it been a headache finding ways to still get any use of them after two days of use... and large, painful blisters! I've always been a Brooks Ghost fan but with the remodel, the toe width was too large. I switched to these Asics after hearing of the narrow fit and back/heel pressure support. After just two uses (one hour each time), I was left with huge blisters on the inside of my heels... and that was with wearing Feetures No Blister socks. I've never experienced blisters on my heels when walking/running in Brooks. What a disappointment!! I decided I would do more research with Brooks and found success with narrow fit of the Launch, but now what to do these $160 shoes??!! Even after wearing them for a quick run to the store, the blister area got raw again. I have replaced the manufacturer's sole wth a plantar insole insert, and it seems to be okay for wearing around town. What a waste of money for what turns out to be a grocery run shoe!!

I have neutral feet type.. I'm 5'10" 230. I have worn Asic Nimbus for over 7 years now with NO issues, but this new model was just horrible. The new style of rubber soles/tred did not give the side stability needed as previous years. For the first time my ankle started rolling causing pain in my feet, knees & back. I do not recommend this model of Nimbus 21! I can only where them about 4 hours of regular walking before I feel pain. I hope they improve the next year or I will be looking for a new shoe brand. Also they do not come clean when washed. For a $150 shoe i expected better. I did have to purchase a previous model Nimbus 19 toreplace theses. The toe box is very narrow too.

Light weight shoe but provides support. This is my 5th pair of ASICS gel nimbus. I am a nurse and my feet never tire if wearing ASICS gel nimbus series. I get compliments on the color.
