Prepac Monterey White Twin Storage Headboard

All my books fit in here. I have about 35 books in it vertically and about 15 on top of those horizontally. Only about 12 of those books are smaller/ around 1 inch width. The rest are at least 2 to 2 1/2 inches minimum width. Very cute and a great purchase. Was also easy to assemble c:

I read all the reviews before purchasing these headboards, and I wasn't disappointed at all. They were much more impressive in person, good quality and easy to install. My builder was impressed too - and surprised at what I had paid for them (I ordered 3 for a new bunkroom for my grandchildren). All in all I would highly recommend this item to anyone interested in a practical solution for a headboard. I don't need night tables, and a lamp sits on the top for reading with enough room for books or other stuff. Very good looking and stable with a nice finish also.

Ok I like this headboard however when I went to assemble it didn't have the parts labeled or anything I was able to assemble it but I can't give 5 stars just because it was confusing to find what part was what overall though I am happy with purchase it feels sturdy and it's nice

If you read the reviews here you'll find them talking about "slats" and an extra lot of tools and hardware.Those people got a bed with it. That probably complicates things.But just the headboard is very easy to assemble. You need a screwdriver, (Phillips), a hammer, and about 2 hours.You don't need anything extra.I'm a 75 year old single lady. I've put together a lot of furniture kits, but sometimes the translations are awful, or they depend entirely on pics. Clear instructions here.I made a couple little changes. I didn't use the "feet" as this goes on wood floor. I used some of that padded stick on footers. And I wanted to see my paint behind the book case, so left off the thin board.

I was searching for a headboard, did not find one and gave up. Then, Amazon's customer assist computer algorithms recommended it via email to me based on the search.The headboard is just what I wanted. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. It is well worth the price. Delivery was good and on time.

I received the package with a small problem. One of the board is slightly broken. I didn’t want to return it as I have to repack it, also it’s time consuming and too heavy for me to return it. It’s so easy to assemble and still look good for my daughter’s bedroom.

This manufacturer knows how to package items of this size and weight so they don't arrive damaged. Very satisfied with that. The product itself is pretty good for the type of structure it is. For the price and value ratio I gave it 4 stars. It is not solid wood, so if that is what you are looking for, look elsewhere, but for my 12 year old daughter, it is great and looks great too. I would not hesitate to recommend this item to others.

Needed a screwdriver and a hammer. (I also used a drill, but it’s not absolutely necessary.) Put it together by myself in a little over a half hour. Instructions are clear and easy to follow, even though pieces aren’t marked. The unit is sturdy and solid, well made, and, especially given the price, surprisingly good quality. The packaging wasn’t excessive - I used the box as a mat to protect the floor and the unit. Finished, it looks good, stands solidly, and fits well. It does not attach to the metal bed frame, but doesn’t need to. The only thing I would add would be pre-drilled holes to pass plugs for lamp/clock through the back - but that’s easily fixed with a drill. I’ve assembled countless knockdown furniture pieces over the years; I’d definitely purchase from this company again in the future.

I have bought other Prepac items which prompted me to purchase their products again. The pieces are solid and are precision cut with a secure fastening system which locks pieces together tightly. There are no misaligned holes when matching the pieces together. Also the paint job covers the pieces nicely. I also purchased the night table and WBT-4100 twin bed to which I added the same comments. This item and the bed took a little longer to put together but looked great when finished.

This is a nice headboard that is finished nicely and was relatively easy to put together. The instructions are straight forward, but the individual pieces of wood are not marked. You kinda have to play the guessing game as to which piece is which. It is made from particle board and will probably last long enough for my daughter to outgrow it, but it won't last forever.

This is the second of these headboards that I buy through Amazon. My Mother bought her first one through Sears and liked it so much she wanted another but Sears had discontinued them. I found the Sonoma headboard on Amazon and it was cheaper than Sears which was a bonus, so I bought her one. I bought the second one for my Daughter. They are strong units and look good. You have to be careful to not over tighten the bolts as you can damage the material.

Solid product. Easy to assemble. Looks nice.
