Omni 2 Hardside Expandable Luggage with Spinner Wheels, Checked-Large 28-Inch, Purple

This suitcase is light and very roomy. It rolls well. Seems strong and we'll made. I would not hesitate to buy one again. The lock works well and is easy to use.

I just received the Samsonite luggage as I write this review and so far I really like this luggage. It’s lightweight for is size. The color is nice, but I can see future scratches standing out. Very good material from what I inspected. I purchased the 28 inch and this thing is pretty big, at the same it’s not over the top. Since I always travel with only one luggage and stay more than two weeks at my destinations this is perfectly fine. So about the measurements! I know most airlines have a 62 inch linear size luggage rule. I did my own measurements and this thing added up to 62.5. I don’t think people will have problems with this size luggage. Once I start putting it to use I’ll update my review.

This is probably one of the worst suitcases I could have purchased. I purchased it the first week of May and it is now the 2nd week of July and is basically unusable. After the first 4-5 weeks one side of one of the 4 wheels basically eroded or came off. And then after 4 weeks one of the zippers came off the track. I thought at least I have another zipper and that just came off and my clothes were spilled all over the streets. This is just after two months of general use. A couple of flights, and changing Airbnb accomodations. I purchased this because of the brand reputation and quality and now only two months later I'm actually in Latvia and need to purchase a new suitcase to replace this. I had gone to a Samsonite store and they said the wheels and parts for European suitcases are different than for America, so I can't even pay to get it repaired. Complete waste of money and a crap product. I've shared only the video of the wheel, because the suitcase shell is still basically fine except for not being able to zip it closed.

I’ve taken the Samsonite Luggage on many international flights, and it has held up extremely well. The hard shell is very durable and has protected my belongings through all kinds of handling. The spinner wheels make it super easy to navigate airports, and the expandable feature is a huge plus when I need a little extra room. The only issue I encountered was during a trip to Singapore when one of the wheels fell off. Luckily, there was a Samsonite service center nearby, and they repaired it in just 30 minutes for $35. It was a quick and easy fix, and the luggage has been performing perfectly ever since. Overall, I highly recommend this suitcase!

Practical and works well. Fits a lot but easy to go over 50 lbs.

Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this luggage. I have traveled all over for the last 30 years and have owned more expensive luggage and swear by Samsonite. My last luggage from them was perfect and had so many compartments and I was worried this wouldn't hold as much. I can get so much in this luggage and like that it is double sided and you can zip one side to hold it in - I do miss my soft side luggage but I carry this for long trips and bring a smaller soft sided one for the carry on and put my expensive shoes in it and belts. But, this fits everything - couldn't be happier.

We had this suitcase for years and are very happy with it- it was time to buy a second one. The quality and size is amazing for traveling. The wheels are so smooth.
