My grandson is only 4 but loves fossils and dinosaurs and treasure seeking. So we hide fossils and rocks around our rural property and create a “treasure” map for him to follow when he visits in the summer. We primed this curiosity with this book for his parents to read to him before they h by is it and he loves it!

I was hoping for more information inside. 16 half pages of large printing that could answer your question of how they are made in 1 1/2 pages. This book does not inspire further information on fossils. And as stated, NOT an Archaeology book. That should have stopped my purchase right there.

This book appears to be about PALEONTOLOGY. Not Archaeology.
