Turmeric Curcumin with BioPerine - 120 Vegan Capsules - 700mg of Tumeric per Capsule - with Black Pepper Extract 95% Curcuminoids

I had done a ton of research on Turmeric/Curcumin and the need for Black Pepper to gain the full benefits (Bioprene) before deciding to try this one by Purely Holistic. At first $29.00 a month (2 pills each day for me and 2 pills each day for my husband) seemed pricey. I'm usually a very 'cheap' person...lol. I got it anyway after reading the hundreds of reviews and research. The benefits I've read about are countless. The way I see it, Turmeric/Curcumin really is the only medicine any person would need and/or benefit all around from taking. It truly seems to be an all around cure for such a wide array of ailments including 3rd stage cancer!! Google it...there is Documented Scientific studies and evidence to support this. My husband has been covered up in eczema so badly that on his arms, sides, legs etc. literally looked like his skin was just rotting away. They would start up as these small red dry spots then spread like wild fire into these full blown blood red enormous sores all over him. It was awful. We tried so many things. Then I somehow came upon reading about Turmeric. Well, I got him to take it and his skin (that had been so badly damaged and difficult to look at for a year or so) MIRACULOUSLY began to clear up after the first 2 weeks of taking this Turmeric (1 with Breakfast/1 with Supper)! Truly! It has also been regulating his blood pressure and keeping him feeling GREAT! Anyhoo, those were the benefits we could see with our eyes in just 1 month of taking this (Keep in mind, this is ALL he takes...we don't believe in taking prescription medicines). Well, I messed up and forgot to order a new bottle before this first one ran up and so now, while the other one is on its way, we've been out for a few days. Since then, he's had a blood pressure spell this morning and his skin has flaired up BIG TIME. It seems almost immediate. I feel so bad that I didn't order it early enough. It won't happen again. I hope they continue making this very product. Purely Holistic has gained 2 lifelong customers for sure. I've noticed that my arthritic pain in the base of my spine and hips has decreased. It's not gone, but it seems to be lessened a bit. I have severe arthritic pain and I figure over a long period of time taking this, I will be able to reap the full benefits. I have noticed that I seem to be slimming down a bit...which is amazing. FYI-my husbands belly has noticeably slimmed down as well. I also noticed after a few days of taking it that my perimenopause symptoms have GREATLY decreased. It totally helped the mood/hormonal fluctuations Immensely. Truly, I feel pretty Great and Positive on a daily basis...I'll get small bouts of moodiness, but nothing I can't handle :) OH! I usually have terrible heartburn EVERY day! Most times it seemed to just linger with me each day and night. I haven't had it at all since taking the Turmeric <3 I know this is a long review, but I want to help anyone out there that is reading this (while doing their own research). If you're thinking about taking it...YOU SHOULD. The 29 bucks is really worth it. I think all you really need is this stuff...it's a cure all. JUST REMEMBER! If you are on other medications or whatnot, Please google any possible interactions with Turmeric...just to be on the safe side. This stuff is a powerful healer and you don't want to conflict it with any man made stuff your taking. It is a natural blood thinner...so keep that in mind. I happen to drink Apple Cider Vinegar Water daily (Braggs ACV or Heinz) and it doesn't seem to have any ill interactions at all with that...in fact, it probably helps :) Good Luck and God Bless :)

I take turmeric products very seriously due to how significantly they have improved my quality of living. Personally I formulate my own product for daily use, but I am always trying new formulas in order to improve my own technique and offer recommendations to others. I place this product in the top 3 I am aware of. Pros: -The main thing that sets this formula apart from other bioperine containing products is the fact that it uses raw turmeric powder in addition to the extract. Almost all plant extracts are most effective when they are taken in conjunction with the plant in its whole form. This is common knowledge among people who know medicinal plants well, and yet so rare in commercial preparations. Turmeric is not an exception to this rule. Bioperine is great, particle size reduction (available in other high quality products) is great, but just adding a little turmeric powder is the most overlooked and effective means to enhance the effects of curcumin. -All indications are that Purely Holistic is a great company which is worth supporting. After buying I got an email from the owner offering a free sample of a different product, as well as a refreshingly personal note. Regardless of whether this is sincere care or clever marketing (or both), I am impressed. Cons: -I personally think the ratio of Bioperine to active ingredients is off. I would reduce the amount of Bioperine to 3 or even 4 mg. My reasoning is this: 350 mg of 95% curcuminoids is not a particularly large dosage. While at 1-3 times daily it will be more than enough for many people, it simply isn't enough for some people treating serious anti-inflammatory conditions. These individuals (under their doctors supervision) could easily take up to 2-3 capsules 4-5 times a day. In this case, the amount of Bioperine would be large enough that the potential for stomach upset would be significant. It comes down to this: 3 mg is an acceptable amount of bioperine for a single dosage. The difference between 3 and 5 mg is negligible. In the case of taking 3 pills at once, this difference is no longer negligible. The difference between 9mg and 15mg (if someone takes 3 pills) is significant enough that it could mean the difference between successful treatment and intolerable side effects. The difference between 3-5 mg is fairly insignificant, however the difference between 9-15mg can be the difference between succes Bottom line: This is a good product. Most people should be very pleased with it. The only caveat I offer is that if you are going to be taking large doses of Curcumin under a doctors supervision, this may not be the ideal product for you due to the ratio of bioperine to active ingredients.

I put off writing this review until I had gone through an entire bottle of capsules and began a second one. I'm sorry to report that I can't tell any difference in my joint pain, in fact my wrist and thumb pain has worsened and my knee pain is certainly no better. After reading the literature on this product I had great hopes for it alleviating my symptoms. The ingredients are pure and the quality seems very good. However, since it's doing me no good, I think I need to stop taking it. Perhaps it's only me and for another it might make a big difference in health and comfort. I truly have nothing negative to say about this company or the product and really wish it would have worked for me. Since the product appears to be so well made, I would still recommend it to others and suggest they give it a try! An additional note: It seems my post was not understood by everyone so I will add a further comment: I REALLY like this product and this company! Hence, my four stars! Sometimes certain foods don't work well for one person because of stomach issues or food allergies and yet work quite well for another person without those issues. Unfortunately for me, this healthy product was not compatible with my particular physiology. So five stars for the product and three stars for my stomach, that makes four stars!

Hi. Just wanted to tell you how pleased I am with the quality of your Turmeric Curcumin I have been taking for over 4 weeks now in combination with another one of your products. Previously, I had been feeling lethargic, sleepy, and extremely bloated. It got to the point that my abdomen got so big that my belly was busting out of my size 8 slacks. After coming home from a long day at work. I also thought I had a heart condition, got a complete physical and EKG, but the results came back negative for everything! I was in very good health for someone my age they said and told me to just rest more, take some vitamins, and wanted me to take a prescribed medication for my stomach troubles (Nexium--the purple pill from hell!). I refused to take those meds again because I had previously experienced very negative results and problems with other organs! My husband started researching to see what would help me with everything I was feeling. (I have IBS, asthma, and celiac, thus I am on a restrictive diet. I was also feeling much inflammation and bloating in my stomach and couldn't eat well.) He informed me he had ordered a bottle of your Turmeric/Curcumin supplement, as well as CoQ10 for me, so when it came in, I began taking it faithfully every day along with the CoQ10 product. Much to my relief, I started feeling less bloated and that horrible huge bubble I felt nearly rising up to my chest every day that made me feel I was going to have a heart attack or stroke which prompted me to get an EKG has become much smaller and much more tolerable. My belly no longer looks like I ate a whole watermelon, and my size 8 dress slacks fit comfortably around my waist area. Honestly, the buttons were nearly bursting off when my belly became bloated. I truly feel that I am slowly but surely enjoying improved good health and vitality and expect to keep seeing improvements as I continue to take my Turmeric Curcumin as well as my CoQ10 supplements. Truthfully, I've lost track of how many times I have order Turmeric from Holistic. This last order only came after extensively looking at other turmeric offers. No one offers the dosage equivalent that Holistic does. Now does it matter? That I don't know. All I know is that though Holistic can be twice as expensive as other brands, it works for me. I ran a 7:28 mile at 67! All I can say is that though I have some joint discomfort from my rigorous exercise routine, I simply couldn't do any of it without the Turmeric. If you're not living off your last dime, buy this brand and don't look back. Hopefully you'll get the same results that I do. _________________________________ 4th & 5th reorder. What can I say but that this is a miracle drug! I'm 67 and now running sub 8min miles when I could barely walk a mile. I only buy from Purely Holistic because unlike cheaper bottles where turmeric powder is the major ingredient, with Purely Holistic, turmeric extract is major ingredient. You get what you pay for. 5 stars. _____________________________ 3rd reorder. This stuff works. I mostly take in the morning but if I need to, I'll take another in the afternoon. I'm running up to 6 miles a day now non-stop, in 54min. This if from where I was two yrs ago where I couldn't jog 100 yards because of knee pain. All gone except when I really over push myself. I'm in my late 60's and this product helps me act and feel like I'm in my 40's. I've upped my rating for 4 stars to 5. Just buy it and use it and never look back. ___________________________ Its a difficult thing to say whether the product actually reduces joint pain. But though I jog 2-5 mi/day @ 65, I must say I'm in very little discomfort. Will I purchase again? Probably. 120 pills per bottle certainly has me leaning in that direction! B) 2nd order: We recently had our 48 high school reunion. In an all-class correspondence, I noted your product with a weblink. Two responded stating they already were using your product where several others stated they were in need of it replied they had already place orders for it. It truly has helped me, and apparently also my classmates.

I just started taking them, so I am not sure how they are working. I am extremely cheap, so paying $36.00 for one bottle of turmeric including shipping and handling...is way out of my comfort zone. I will not buy these again, I will try a brand that is less expensive. The instructions on the bottle state the serving size is 1 to 3 pills a day, 500 mg per pill. I am in the middle, taking 2 per day. On a more positive note...they seem to be one of the best quality turmeric products I have researched. I did find that it is important to eat a meal prior to taking this vitamin. It can upset your stomach.

Good buy

After years of neck and upper back pain, I ran across an article about turmeric curcumin. I mentioned it to my wife. She said that she had heard of it from friends ages ago, and urged that I give it a try. I thought that that was silly, but she kept harping on it, day after day, so I finally acquiesced and ordered two bottles. I began taking the recommended dosage, and within a little over two weeks, the pain was for the most part gone. Not gone as in I no longer have a long standing injury to be concerned with. I do. My neck and back upper back area remain extremely fragile. I must still take care not to antagonize this area, but I now no longer have the relentless, nagging pain in my neck, shoulder, and upper back area. The only thing I can attribute this change to is turmeric curcumin. Now, I don't know if turmeric will work for you, but it certainly did work for me. I think it's probably at least worth a try. This is an update to my earlier evaluation: I've been using this brand of Turmeric Curcumin for several months now, and my initial reaction was absolutely NOT a fluke. I remain very happy with the product. For me, Turmeric appears to make a significant reduction in the inflammation from a chronic, long-time injury that has been a serious source of pain and general discomfort for most of my life. I wish I could say that the pain has completely disappeared, but that is not true. What has happened, since I started taking this product, is that the pain is significantly reduced, and that makes going about and doing normal things more of a possibility for me. Although, I obviously cannot guarantee that everyone will achieve this same result, I believe it is worth a try.
