Soft, Comfortable, Great Quality Riding Tights for Pleasure or Show Riding.
I ordered 2 pairs in size XL tan Kerrit's Kids Riding Tights for my 12 year old/7th grader daughter who rides 3-6 days a week and is frequently at the barn doing her barn chores. We went to the local tack shop at the beginning of the season and they only had a couple of pair of Kerrit's in her size but I wanted a couple of more pair for the summer so I wasn't doing laundry everyday to keep her clean and Amazon pulled through for us again. The tack shop hooked us up with the Kerrit's brand riding pants and we won't go back to any other brand. These particular pair of pants are ultra soft, hold up well, and were even comfortable worn in the hot summer weather. These move with your movement, don't bunch up in all the wrong places, and feel like your wearing Pjs even during the day. They have knee pads on the inside of your pant leg that make these pants last longer than wearing regular fashion pants while riding. Kerrit's riding pants are designed as "tights" so they do fit close to the body as you would expect in a riding pant. These pants fit as expected for us because we are familiar with this brand. However, if you are buying for someone that is still growing, prefers to wear looser fitting clothing than I would recommend buying a size larger chances are you will outgrow them before they fall apart on you. The other thing to note is that we tend to wear our tall socks over the pants and that holds them in place in our tall boots while riding. A habit that we discovered before finding the Kerrits brand riding pants. However the leggings at the ankle have a light weight elastic band on the inside that holds them down. They do not have the stirrups connected to the pants. We purposefully looked for pants that didn't have that as the button is irritating on your skin with your boots and socks pressed up against your leg and often in the heat leaving the button mark on your ankle. If you really need this, I would recommend purchasing the removable ones like these - Elastic Pant Clip this way you always have a choice for the best comfort for you. We did a few fun shows this summer and some kids dressage shows and my daughter wore these pants in the show without any issues. We have some fun print Kerrit pants that we can't use in shows but these worked just fine.

Son loves them
They're a bit on the small side but other than that they are excellent especially on sale. My son says they're super comfy and they still look new after constant wear over the past several months.

Great! Comfy, soft, and durable
My daughter has sensory issues and cannot tolerate anything that is too tight, too rough, has too many seams, and whatever seams there are have to be flat and soft, etc. It's a nightmare finding anything for her to wear, but when I do, I horde whatever it is in different sizes and colors. I will be hording these pants. She absolutely loves them and doesn't ever want to take them off. She wants to wear them all day long to everything, not just riding. She is a beginner rider, and these pants have been perfect for her. She puts them on, and they allow her to move as needed, no binding, no chaffing, no problems - just focusing on her lesson or trail ride. EXACTLY what we need! Well done, Kerrits!! I am now a brand loyalist. Some technical feedback: She's 8 and muscular and is currently between a size 12 and 14, so I bought the XL. It's a little big, but the drawstring at the waist ensures a snug fit, and the added length means we'll have some time with this as she's going through her growth spurts. As mentioned, she wears them a lot, so I've already had to wash them a few times, and they are holding up well. They get even softer with a wash! Buy these!!

Great riding tight for kids!
Love these tights! They wash very very well and hold up awesome! My daughter loves them! Kerrits is her favorite brand! Middle of the road and far as price goes but worth the extra money for her to be comfortable and hold up as well as they do! Definitely recommend them! My daughter is a slim 7 1/2 year old of average height. She is currently still in an extra small. They are very stretchy! She likes her tights to be form fitting. This leaves no room to have them rub. Which is good. The draw string is a great feature. Allows for the waist to be adjusted without too much hassle.Definitely a great pair of tights! Several have asked if they are see through. They are 100% NOT see through! They are thick but breath well enough for hotter days.

Light and comfortable riding tights
We ordered a small for my 9 year old daughter, who wears a size 7 in clothes. The pants fit well around the waist. They're a tiny bit loose in the legs, but my daughter is pretty skinny. The length is great. She's just under 42 inches and the pants go down to the bottom of her ankles. The fabric is light and and will be great for warm weather riding.

Durable, comfortable, not itchy
My petite 11 year old daughter has worn a medium in these and has had them for a little over a year. She had only one pair, but rode only once a week. I machine wash them but I air dry them. They have held up very well and are light weight for warmer weather. We have just ordered the next size up, a large, which are a bit too big for her but she can wear them if she rolls them up a bit. She likes these better than the riding breeches, which are heavier and can be itchy. They're not the cheapest, but they're comfortable and good quality. They are also certainly not the most expensive, I would say it's a good price for a good product that will hold up.
