A fun, well-written, informative book. A MUST HAVE for any entrepreneur.
This book is well-written, funny and most importantly informative. I actually have an accounting background but learned some helpful information from this book. Don't get me wrong, this book isn't written in "accounting language" though. It's easy to read and very entertaining. Best of all, I know this book will save me some aggravation, time and even some cash come tax time. A MUST HAVE for any entrepreneur.

A good foundation for those afraid of/intimidated by taxes.
I met Chris at a conference and was so impressed by his professionalism and character that I decided to pick up his book to check it out. I actually knew a lot of the information in this book, but I had to learn it the hard way -- I wish I'd known about this book when it first came out! This is a basic, bare-bones look at what you need to know with some recommendations for learning more (if you're interested) about tracking your business's money and filing taxes. You won't walk away knowing how to do your own taxes, but this book will give you the information you need to decide how to set-up your company so you know how to do your taxes (as well as present some pros and cons for ways to file taxes). As someone who HATES tax season, I never felt overwhelmed while reading this book and appreciate that Chris makes it clear that he's available to answer questions if anyone has them. If you're a new business owner (or a professional artist of any kind), I highly recommend this book.

Eh... Check your local library first
This book was a recommended read off a small business blog. Overall I feel it provides little valuable information. Most of the topics touched upon are also discussed (for free) on my State's small business webpage. A lot of the book felt like an advertisement for the author, he mentions he's taking new clients several times and even provides his phone number within the text of the book. Most of the advice is to consult with a CPA. On the upside, it was a quick and easy read with no confusing accounting terms. I'd look at your local library for this book first before buying it.

Good information
I'm looking forward to the day I'll need the information in this book.
