I have extremely dry and cracked heels, this was an impulse purchase to help jump start my "get feet ready for sandal season" I was a bit skeptical at first, considering the price for 6 pairs.The instructions say to wear at night and the first night I tried... but simply couldn't get comfortable, I thought it was a bust. I had to take them off.The next morning after showering, drying my feet and using Kerasal (I highly recommend purchasing both) I decided to try and wear these under my regular socks and putting on my sneakers to start my day. I have to say, wearing them throughout the day with my regular shoes was glorious, they have a gel pad on the heal that feels secure and soft do to the cushion.I love that they are thin enough to wear under regular socks, I like that I can not wear them for a longer period of time. I have only taken them off when I am going to sleep.I have hand washed them while in the shower (I don't think I will put them in the washing machine) Before my shower I boil some water on the stove, add in powdered Tide and add the socks. It takes about 15 minutes to set up, I allow the socks to soak until the water is cool enough to put my hands in, I then agitate the water with my hands another 5 minutes. I finish the cleaning and rinsing process while in the shower. Then hang them to dry using a wire hanger and a safety pin to secure them. They dry beautifully.I have only worn the socks for 3 days and already see a marked improvement in my heels.I absolutely will be purchasing a few more sets for myself and some family members that have my same issue of extremely dry heels.

I recommend buying 2/3 packs of these socks so that you can wear them and wash them in rotation. Alongside these socks, if you want to get rid of really bad heel cracks you will need a good cream and some pedicure blades/file.I had really bad feet before buying these socks. I had deep cracks of about 5-7 mm, at least 6 of them across both feet and hundreds of minor cracks. The deep cracks had been open for 5 months and were not healing, so these socks were my last resort. I bought 3 packs of them and have been wearing them every day over the past month. However, the socks alone would do very little except to soften your feet. I bought some Flexitol heel cream and put this on every day before wearing the socks. It was extremely painful to walk on my cracked feet before treatment with the socks, but after just one day and night of wearing these socks the pain had gone. I had tried Flexitol cream before and found that it did very little after a couple of days, but the socks helped enormously in softening the skin and keeping the area moist so that the cream could work its magic. The best thing is that wearing these means that you don't get any sock fluff in your open cracks, which is important, as getting fluff in deep cracks in the feet is very painful. It took a good couple of weeks of carrying out this routine every day for the deep heel cracks to almost completely heal. In that time I feel that the quality of my heel skin has drastically improved. I'm about a month into treating my cracked heels now and the softened excess skin that I have is still there, so you also need to add filing or skin removal to your foot care routine alongside the cream and socks. I have purchased some pedicure blades to shave off the excess skin. However, underneath the soft excess skin, my feet are healed, so I can't recommend this product enough for really boosting the treatment of cracked feet.These are just silicone lined socks, nothing more. I say this because one review states that silicone is a hazardous material, but this is false. They are hand wash only, but I turn them inside out and use the hand wash cycle of my washing machine and they wash very well.If you're looking for a quick fix for exceptionally bad cracked feet, nothing will work for you. Treatment of really bad heel cracks takes time and patience. Don't expect to wear these once or twice and your feet will miraculously get better, they won't.

Living in a hot area, I didn't want to wear full coverage normal socks. These are much cooler and very comfortable. They definitely keep the moisture in and have helped heal my deeply cracked heels.

Wish I found these years ago! My heels always get dried and cracked, especially in summer since I wear sandals a lot. I wear these a few nights/ week and will put Working Hands lotion on thick and then put these on overnight. Helps to seal in the lotion and my heels feel great in the morning! I HATE wearing socks to bed, but can tolerate these since my toes aren’t covered.
