children's
The little bird is scared to start learning to fly.He comes across a lion, beaver, elephant, fish, a big gray bird, a mole, they give him advice.I do not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing free books from publishers & authors. Therefore, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one.An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures, charming illustrations & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary) bird storybook (bi-lingual). It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s educational presentation (bird learning to fly), movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.Thank you for the free author; planetOh Books; FreeBooksy; Amazon Digital Services LLC. Fly!!! Little Bird. Fly!!!
Ingo Blume is a fabulous author of books that are soon to be the favorites of your child's. The illustrations are entertaining. I highly recommend this book one in the new series called, "Little Bird." Little bird is afraid of heights. He goes up a little ways and then goes back down because he is afraid. The other birds make fun of him. He goes in search of a friend. I will let you discover who he finds.

sweet story
This is a cute story with lovely pictures. It was helpful to have the two languages in different colors, and the translations were close enough to help beginner readers decipher the new language. I enjoyed the ending! Bravo! Keep writing! And thank you for making your book available on Kindle Unlimited. :)

Fun, and useful way to expose your child to French
Read your child this book and you will kindle an interest in French, and perhaps foreign languages in general. I've used bilingual books with my 7 year old daughter since she was 4, and she embraces French. She isn't fluent, but if she hears people speaking French in public, she'll approach them and say, "Bonjour", then make small talk.It is clear to me that a foundation has been laid for French fluency. An immersion experience within the next few years will have her speaking French fluently. The story is easy, the pictures are engaging, and the text is short enough that you can read both the French and English to your child without exceeding the attention span.My daughter is now 7, so I read the French to her, and then I ask her to read the English.

Forgetting fear
The little bird is afraid to fly and is left alone by his friends who love flying. He tries to find a friend but things don't work out. Then he comes across a kiwi bird who can't fly and is caught in a trap. He hurries to get help and figures out how to speed up his search. He learns something important when he forgets his to help someone in trouble.

Highly recommend!
My grandchildren 1 1/2 and 3 years old both love this little book and ask me read it again & again. Not a traditional french story, but very appropriate to introduce french language to little ones. Thumbs up!!

We loved it
🇬🇧 I love bilingual books and my kids loved the story. My eldest is afraid of swimming and she saw some aspects of herself in this story. It helped her gather courage and go to the swimming pool with us.🇫🇷 J’adore les livres bilingues et mes enfants ont adoré l’histoire. Mon aînée a peur de nager et elle s’est reconnue dans certains aspects de cette histoire. Cela lui a donné du courage pour se rendre à la piscine avec nous.

Good little story to learn vocabulary from
Learning French myself at the moment, nice to have a book with both English and French side by side for when I get really stuck. Story is cute and lots of vocab to learn :) Also nicely circular so vocabulary you learn in the first half comes up again in the second half which is good!

Too much text for a toddler
I bought this for my 3 year old as I want to start teaching her French when I read to her at night and this looked cute. I found this book to be too wordy for a toddler. Too much text and not enough engaging images for a young one. This book is probably better suited for a school age ( 6+).
