Brilliant gate
Very happy with the gate, it’s currently in use to stop dogs from coming upstairs and does exactly as it should. There have been no breaches of security. Gate is not in your face when retracted and can easily be removed unlike a typical steel gate.

Not recommended for small dogs
Nice gate quick to install unfortunately my dog goes under the gate anyway

Worth the purchase
Gates have changed since my children have grown up but we purchased this to stop a new puppy getting out and into the street.So, so easy to install. Well made and one hand operation. Would work wonders too for a newborn also!

Fantastic item but use other wall plugs
Item is great, works really well. But the wall plugs provided were useless. Used our own

Doing the job as a dog gate
The media could not be loaded. Easy to fix up, good instructions. Relatively sturdy, my dogs haven’t attempted to get underneath or jump over. This is good for my two smaller dogs but not sure it would withstand a large boisterous dog. It’s decent quality. Ok to open and close but would be hard with a baby in one arm for sure. I’d recommend for small to medium dogs not any larger and not sure I would recommend as a baby gate at all. See video.

Does the job
Bought this to stop my puppy from getting up the stairs. My dad installed it for me as I don't own a drill. Easy to install, and does the job perfectly. Much better then a normal stair gate. Will be getting another

It’s ok
My puppy dachshund can get under it even when it’s locked shut. But it works for the adult dachshund

Brilliant
This is so much better than the normal stair gates. I bought it to put at the bottom of the stairs to stop the dogs and it works. We had a few teething problems at first because the Lab discovered that he could get underneath it if he nose butted the bottom catch off, my fault i didnt lock the gate, he soon gave up after a few attempts when it was locked.
