SPATULA CITY!!!!!!!!
Sadly, Spatula City is but a fictional retailer from the motion picture "UHF". If it were real, they would proudly feature these spatulas as part of their premium, high-end offerings. They are durable, versatile and well made. In essence, a Rolls Royce/Ferrari of spatulas, without the ginormous price tag. If you cook, bake or decorate, you need these spatulas. I wasn't sure, now I know.

Stainless steel offset spatula 4 sizes set 6” 8” 10” 12”
So the description states this is a:-Stainless steel offset spatula 4 sizes set 6” 8” 10” 12” blade cake icing frosting spatulas professional pastry dessert decorating for bakers.I'm glad they came in different sizes, as I've recently got 4 different t size cake tins too and these have been perfect to spread the filling in a multi layer cake. Where you cook one tier and cut it into 3 layers. I then used the tines to actually layer the cakes. With a base Spounge layer then use the longest spatula to spread a even layer of butter iceing and repeat for that tier. Repeat for the other tier too.Because these spatulas are off set meaning they have a dip in them so the blade is lower than the handle but dead straight.meaning you can spread when your hand isn't level with the actual cake etc...Stainless steel so easy to clean. If iceing the outside of a cake with iceing, do a crumb coat first and I put in the fridge for the iceing to Harden a bit. Then once your adding the top layer of iceing, I smooth it off. but then the final wipe over with the spatula, I place it back in the fridge to help Harden the iceing again.Boil the kettle and I get a tall mug or measuring jug. Fill with hot water and place the spatulas in there. The heat off the spatula will help smooth all the rough parts of the cake and leave is silky smooth. So far so goodBut I will update this review if needed.*** Size:- * 6” 8” 10” 12” blades. * All spatulas had a 4.7" handles.*** Made of:- Stainless Steel.*** Weight:- 431g

Handy for baking or savoury cooking. 🎂 [Set of four Off-set Spatulas].
These arrive in a mainly black cardboard box, inside each off-set spatula is individually wrapped in a plastic bag that didn't appear to be recyclable or biodegradable. I know that manufacturers want things to arrive in good condition but I'm a little fed up of so much plastic. The 4 off-set spatulas come in the following blade sizes.1 x 6”1 x 8”1 x 10”1 x 12”They are of an all metal [stainless steel] construction, the handles have a "brushed" finish & are comfortable in the hand. Each handle terminates with a wire bail so they can be hung up.The blades are springy so wont deform under pressure. Unfortunately the 12" in my set had a slight curve to it & it took some careful application of force & a little heat to get it flat & level without making it wonky. But I wanted it flat so that I could smooth out large areas. If you're a baker the off-set allows you to smooth & level out mixtures even in a recessed cake tin. It also means that you can smooth or shape things & keep your fingers out of the way as well as giving good control.I only bake a little, being more of a savoury person, but they are useful for a multitude of tasks. The shorter ones make spreading butter onto piles of sandwiches a breeze. Also great for artistic smears on plates or platters, applying sauces, freeing stuck soufflé or tray-bakes from the tin, lifting omelettes from pans... all sorts of tasks. Having the variety of sizes means you can quickly pick the right one for the job at hand. If you've never used one before you'll quickly find them indispensable in the kitchen. At £13.95 they work out to £3.48 each which is a small price to pay for such a useful tool so I'm quite happy to recommend them.

Brilliant spatulas
Set of four spatulas that are ideal for cake decorating. You get four different sized metal spatulas with a plastic handle. They are light and easy to hold.I used one for a 12 inch cake to spread butter icing.Using this made it very easy to spread the icing evenly around the cake. Also easy to scoop the icing out of the bowl and onto the cake with this spatula.Easy to clean. Can be used for any sized cake as you have the options of different sizes of spatulas.Great addition for any baker.
