Not a battery tool
This is a nice unit, compact and powerful. I bought this to use for wood carving. While I am still just beginner at this I can see this tool taking me a long way. I also purchased the foot pedal along with the machine, highly recommended.

Works great
I bought this as an upgrade from my old rotary tool to use for carving rocks and wood and various other projects. So far it works great. Happy I bought this item and would do so again. When I first got it I gave it a low rating because I was missing the key to be able to use it. I updated it since the company got ahold of me quickly and got me the part I was missing. Great customer service and great item.

Great workhorse of a tool
It is my favorite rotary tool. I would have given it a 5 star, but for one problem. The head of my shaft which holds the drill bits came off today. I was using it for some heavy carving of walnut and the head came loose. It looks like it just is held there by compression. I guess I can try gluing back on. My wish is the ability to get parts as needed. Some of these Chinese companies produce good tools, but one cannot get parts. I am in a quandary. Unless one can get parts, it really isn't worth the cheaper price. I would love to keep it, but unless I can get information how to fix it or get replacement parts, it is now limited in usefulness

Good tool.
Only negative I could think of it is, it would of been nice if they put an on/off switch on it.

Gets hot
It is smooth and quiet but after about five minutes of use the part you hold on you hand gets hot and I have to put it down to cool off. Not impressed for the amount of money spent my opinion is look elsewhere for a better brand

Overheated after first use
Thank you for the two-inch long burn on the inside of my thigh. The shaft overheated and started smoking after the first use. Unbelievable. There is nothing wrong with the electrical in my house either. I was five minutes in carving an opal when I smelled and saw smoke and the back of the handle touched my hand and slightly burnt it. I jumped at the pain, dropped the dremel, and the metal shaft landed on my thigh burning it. Now I know how cows feel.

Cheaply designed
At a glance the handle feels solid but after using the tool for an hour or so, the motor began to spin freely on me and the shaft disconnected somewhere. I had taken it apart with an Allen key but could not find where it is loose. I never even open the bits that come with it but they seem of poor quality. The chuck did accept 1/4 inch bits but just barely.
