Won’t work for hummingbirds
These little bird houses are darling, however, I wish I had done my homework first. Hummingbirds don’t use enclosed nests. They nest in very secluded places usually not visible to us, and are unlikely to use any man-made nest. I’m going to hang them high in our back yard tree just because they’re so cute. Maybe some other little bird will use them.

hummingbirds are staying away from feeder since I hung one up nearby
My mouse had a fit when I put one in her habitat and was trying to destroy it but now she likes to sleep in it. Fun. I planted a flower in the other one.

No hummingbirds
I’ve had both of these hanging on each side of my hummingbird feeder for a couple of months now.My hummingbird feeder gets plenty of activity but the birds show zero interest in the hummingbird houses. Sadly its pass the deadline to return them.

Perfect for wrens
Just big enough for a wren. Week built. Large opening. Best when hung in a secure area.

HUMMINGBIRDS DO NOT USE ANY BIRD HOUSE
On all of these types they're advertised as Hummingbird houses. Hummingbirds are open nesting birds. They will not use this nor any other enclosed bird house. Keep in mind hummingbirds have extremely short weak legs that lack knees. They are basically just landing gear. They are incapable of walking or hopping at all, they can shuffle slightly on perch is about it. If they want to move 1 inch they fly. They don't use enclosed nests because they cannot start flapping inside it and are unable to hop from inside to the entry hole like regular birds can.

Surprise Surprise
I bought these hummingbird nests strictly for decoration to fill in a spot next to my hanging plant. We hung them up about 10 days ago. They are very cute and petite; I never imagined anything making a home inside. Imagine my surprise when I saw 3 hummingbirds flitting around these nests this morning! The birds landed on them, peeked inside, flying back and forth checking them out for a few minutes and then flew off. The one nest looks to be hanging a little crooked and I was going to take it down. Hubby says it looks fine and leave it alone. I think that’s what I’ll do. 😀❤️
