Acme Kastmaster Lure with Buck Tail Teaser

These are great spoon type lures. The name "Kastmaster" isn't a lie because the shape / weight really lets you cast it out there, which is handy for bank fishing. If I'm fishing a lake, I like to cover different areas, and different depths (cast it out, count to X, retrieve, change X, try again). I usually swap out treble hooks for single as they don't snag as much and fish retention / hook-ups are about the same.

Quality design and construction. Sharp treble hook. If you're looking for a classic lure that catches fish, this is it. Redfish, trout, and flounder!

Longtime lover of kastmaster. Having had great successes with the 1/8oz chrome on bass, crapie, sunfish, rainbow trout and yes, a catfish, I knew I needed to order another to have as backup in the event of a loss.Upon ordering my backup, I ran across this 1/8 chrome with white buck tail and the reviews were intriguing, I knew I had to try this one out too! First time using, fish on, third cast out! I was ecstatic and convinced of it's effectiveness. I tried this lure out on a private pond with large mouth bass, perch, sunfish and catfish. I landed a lg mouth using my 5' Ugly Stick Ultra Lite with 6# test. Can't wait to try this out at a trout lake nearby...I really want to land a brown! Recommended. Proven.

The lure is great and caught plenty of perch, bass, and sea trout. The salt water did a number on the buck tail. While it is a great lure, be prepared to replace the bucktail after a few uses

I've used these lures for a longtime and I love them. I haven't used this one yet but I hope to catch some fish with it

The gold castmaster jig is by far the best jig since forever. It out fishes any other jig I have ever used. If you are fishing with other jigs and are not catching fish, switch to a gold castmaster jig. You just might like it. I caught 89 trout with one on the Colorado River during the morning and part of the afternoon with the same jig. Naturally I did catch and release all of the trout. I gave it 5 stars because it catches fish, which is exactly what I want in a lure. I use it to catch big lahontan cutthroat trout at PL, NV. Got the 3/4 ounce. Through it out far, let it sink to the bottom, then hop it along slowly.Only downside is, I’ve bought a few now and sometimes the tail comes apart.

Este tipo de lure, agarra de todo, lo recomiendo ampliamente. Me he llevado muy buenas capturas con los que tengo, lo he usado en plateado, dorado, y combinado plata/azul, y ninguna me ha quedado mal.
