Handy new device
This gadget, recommended by Serious Eats, is a very nice alternative to other serving items ( slotted spoons, "spiders," etc.) when it's time to take pasta or vegetables out of the cooking water. Its main advantage is its size; it holds a lot more than the aforementioned items, and drains quickly and effectively. Glad I got it, and the price is quite reasonable too.
