Comfortable, perfect fit
Perfect fit and I usually struggle to find shoes that are wide enough. Comfortable ergonomic fitting like having a special insole which is again usually impossible for me to get to be comfortable. Not tested waterproofing or longevity yet. Look smart. Needed breaking in but no blisters on my commute walk.

Soles split within 5 months
These ecco's were the latest in a long line of attempts to conquer what now appears to be an insurmountable challenge: find a pair of walking shoes durable enough to last more than 2 years of casual use.Know that I'm not a professional long-distance walker. I'm a 100 kg male walking 20 km (about 48,000 steps) per week on mainly flat country roads and tracks.Since 2017, Merrell, Salomon, Berghaus, Reebok, Puma - twice. (I know.) All failed.ecco is a decent Danish brand, I read. They value durability in Denmark, I convinced myself. So I purchased these ecco's new in late September 2022 for £88.Both soles had split by early March 2023, five months later.<sigh> Onward.
