Call Center / Work at Home Agent's-These are for you!
If you work from home, this headset is an absolute MUST HAVE!!!!The package includes: Headset, (has a 3.5 mm end) Adapter, for 2-.5 mm , Computer Adapter that has both audio pink and green to go into the pc.Pro's: They are light weight, provide crystal clear calls, allows you to control the volume and also has the all important mute button..Cons: The ONLY issue I have is that the ear piece is very touchy, in the respect that after a time, it will weaken and you could experience a short in the wiring. The short that I experienced only effected one side, which drove me nuts on a call. This is my 3rd replacement in 3 years. I have tried other styles, and paid top dollar for most, and NONE have provided the quality of sound that I need, and get from this GE product.Call quality is very important, if hearing the person who is calling you, and having them able to hear and understand you without yelling at them is what your looking for...Then look no more! This headset will not disappoint. So they need to be replaced in a year or so...everything wears out sooner or later. Well worth the money, and once you try them, you will understand why I wont even consider any others.

Solid Performer for Price
Update 3/3/2016: After about three years, the headset has developed an echo, rendering it unusable. Still worth the money!Update 8/12/2015: This headset still works great after nearly 2 years of usage! Most days, I work from home. In the office, I have a very nice $100+ Plantronics headset. This is not the same, as you should glean from the price difference! This $15 GE headset works - it allows me to type while on conference calls all day. It is easier for me (and those on the other end) to hear what's going on compared to putting my cell on speakerphone. It was a challenge finding a headset that had one 3.5mm jack, but this is the one. Bonus adapter means you can also use this headset with your computer for Skyping and such. The mysterious button on the wire disconnects calls - if you're on one. If you're not, it starts Google Play Music on my Samsung Galaxy S3. Different cell phones will probably vary.Slight annoyances: the ear "pads" are very thin. I push them forward so they rest partially on my ears and partially on my head to avoid ear pain at the end of the day. The band that rests on the top of your head has no padding at all, so depending on how much hair you have, this may or may not be another slight discomfort. These things aren't a big deal, because the headset is so light, you don't feel it much anyway.Paying $100 for a headset would have been a greater discomfort for me. If you have the money, should you splurge on a more expensive headset? Of course! If you don't, get this guy!

Soiund quality.
The bass was excellent. There is a lot of adjustment with the ear buds too.

Excellent! And perfect as a cell headset too!
I bought the older model to these, from a clearance rack in a store last year. They were godlike! For a good nine months they withstood my brother's heavy handed use. (seriously, he is like a bull in a china shop with electronics.) Finally they have given out, and so I began my search for more of them. The recording quality for this year newer model GE has made is nearly on par with the old model, which was good enough to make people joke that I was in a radio studio when I spoke to them through Skype and such.I am sure you can get a pair of hundred dollar ones that are better in some regards, but the sound on these is good, with deep realistic bass. What I especially love about these is the fact that the cord ends in not two separate 3.5mm jack ends, but one combined signal plug. This means they work for my cell phone, and can replace the thirty dollar, one eared piece of carp that the cell phone store provided me with. Don't worry, they come with an adapter that allows you to separate the signal for your PC's mic and headphone ports. (Also has an adapter to bring the single plug down to 2.5mm, for those with smaller plug type cell phones.) Needless to say, I am ordering another five of these headsets, to be given out as presents to friends and family. I am glad to be doing my part to end brain tumors caused by direct cell phone to ear use.

Fine if you want to keep purchasing them week after week
I keep purchasing these, hoping each pair will last longer than the last. On average they each last about 3 months. I have received two duds which didn't work at all. The longest I have had a pair work was 6-9 months. The last pair lasted less than a week. In each case the microphone fails. When they do work, they are just what I need. I do not like ear buds and do not like blue tooth. Due to disabilities, I cannot hold the phone to my ear during calls. I search regularly for a good headset that I can use with my phone that does not require charging and does not have ear buds. They are practically obsolete, which is the reason I continue to buy this brand. However, I have wasted far too much money. The seller for the last pair refused to give me a refund. I have been out the full price of these too many times. I'll find something else that works for me...hopefully longer than a week at a time.

You'll likely get this "Power Gear by Jasco" headset instead
Like several reviewers here, I bought these to augment a pair of GE 98974s I've had for years. What I received was not as described or as pictured. The headset comes in packaging branded "Power Gear" by Jasco, and the “COMFORTABLE FIT – Cushioned earcups swivel for a comfortable fit” from the item description no longer applies.Jasco is a product aggregator that has licenses to sell under GE, Power Gear and many other brands. Jasco's own website shows the older (better?) product and description, so I don't exactly blame Amazon for listing this wrongly. While this replacement may ultimately end up fine, the two stars are for the misleading description and picture. The GE-branded swivel-earcup version of this headset felt remarkably cheap and light, and I was amazed that it has survived as long. These ones feel even cheaper and lighter.(Note that pictures 2 and 3 on the product page do show the item as received. It's only the main picture and item description that are wrong.)
