Having used both a Helleberg and 24AW throughout my career I can tell you that the 24AW is better for a Eb/F tuba. The Helleberg would be my default option for BBb/CC tuba. In short, it depends on the horn and the player.

Silver plated brass. That is the most popular material for brass mouthpieces.
