What is most important is that the product does what is advertised.
This is a generic product that fits perfectly, it installs in mere seconds. The filtering duplicates the original, I have no reason to believe that the overall results for skin and hair won't be the same. This is the product that I will be purchasing again. The price is almost half as much as the original.

It really filters my well water.
I was very satisfied with this filter. I used the Johnathan filter for a few years and can no longer get it. I have well water and have a problem with copper in my water which turns my hair green. I have tried two other filters which did nothing for the problem they just made my hair flat. Aquacrest was my third try and I love it. My hairdresser said there was no green in my hair. My hair is soft but I can blow dry it and stl have body. I'm going to order two more to have on hand because the price is great.it rea

Worked great until I got a slightly faulty one that got stuck to my shower head!
Wish I had been able to find a way to contact the seller directly. I've used several of these with my Jonathan Product Beauty Hard Water Shower Filter System and never had an issue until I replaced my filter today. When I turned on the shower, it leaked from the seam between the filter and the showerhead, and I realized that the seam was wider on one side (the leaking side) than the other. I think the calibration on this filter must be slightly off. And unfortunately, that meant that it got STUCK to my showerhead. Will not budge in either direction, tighter or looser. Now the entire unit, both the showerhead and the replaceable filter, need to be replaced.UPDATE: Amazon gave me contact info for the seller, Aquacrest, and they were nice enough to replace the faulty filter as well as my shower head, since the shower head ceased to be usable once their filter was stuck to it. As expected, my replacement Aquacrest filter works perfectly with my new showerhead, which is an Aquasana model. It does good for a bit but;
I have this product to be shipped every three months which is the recommended time…but let me tell you that after a month of using it I could feel it’s time to change..another downside of this filter it’s that it’s SUPER HARD to remove yeap to the stream that it piss you off and wanted to cut the The whole entire fuse 😤 I’m sorry I’m writing this as I’m trying to take it off and I can’t. Sucks, ready for different filter that could be more easier to install and uninstall. Oh, one more thing water drips all night.

Massive pressure drop, can’t use!
The product does great at removing the chlorine smell from my water, but the flow of water is reduced so much that it is hard to wash shampoo from my hair. I am unable to keep it on the shower unfortunately. I would estimate at least a 60% water pressure loss when this product is in use. I tried it on multiple shower heads to make sure it wasn’t something other than this filter.
