Self feeding for newbies made easy!
These spoons are awesome, my 8 months old is already into self feeding but it's been difficult to say the least. He was a growth/weight restricted baby (born at 37 weeks weighing in at 4lbs 12ozs at birth) on his ultrasound they were seeing inflammation in his bowel but couldn't be sure of the cause until birth. At 3 days old my son had to have emergency surgery to repair a perforation & separation in his bowel, we then found out that he also lactose and that he suffered from pretty bad acid reflux. Needless to say eating, weight gain, & feeding has not been easy for us (he also DESPISES baby food) we have to make our own food and he's on special formula plus meds for the reflux. The only way we can get him interested in eating was to allow him to hold a spoon and to try and feed himself (while you're feeding him). It was a good idea and it work but the major downfall was the huge mess it made and the frustration not just on our side as adults, but also for him when he couldn't get things to stay on the spoon. These spoons have been a life saver, we can use them for him to help us feed himself and not worry about a major mess to clean up or him crying, and becoming agitated by the spoon (especially when we're out in public or visiting someone). I gave it 4 see stars (I would have given it 4 & 1/2 if possible but there's one thing I do wish, I'd would be nice if you were able to hold a little bit more on the spoon. Otherwise these are perfect and I'll definitely be getting more not just for us but to give to others.

A good design excites me
Why didn’t I get this sooner? As soon as I gave my 13 month old this spoon, he immediately started eating his oatmeal on his own. He ate the whole bowl on his own and got mad if I tried to help. I’ve used a few other spoon designs, and this was the only one that worked. I used it with the oxxo weighted bottom bowl, and I think that helped a lot. The spoon is super flexible so he was able to get every last bit off the bottom of the bowl, and the design of the bowl kept it from moving around. I’m glad I finally found the perfect combo for my baby to feed himself.

Good but flimsy, baby can easy splatter food with it.
I’ve used this product with a client of mine who was older then my son and it worked great for him. My son is currently 6 months and I just introduced these to him. As a teether they are great, they are nice and small and easy for the baby to hold. Because the spoon is like a silicone material, the area between the spoon and the Handle is thin and bendy. Which makes it easy for my baby to flick food every where. When he doesn't bend it and flick the food, the spoon itself works great. It hold purées in the middle and is teaching my son the mechanics of feeding himself with a utensil.

Perfect for all little feeders
This has been the easiest feeding utensil ever. My first child has severe feeding & eating issues, so naturally when I had another I went crazy making sure I don’t have the same problem. These spoons avoid the baby’s gag reflex, and are shaped perfectly for a 5-7 + month olds mouth. My 6month old feeds himself with them and loves it. I’ve actually used them during this covid pandemic for feeding therapy with my 3 year old. They hold up amazing in the dishwasher unlike a lot of silicone stuff. I am so happy I bought these during a wine induced shopping spree. 10/10

better for teething then for introduction to eating with utensils
I gave these many tries for different types of meals before using strictly for dinner time teething. Nothing would stick in those grooves and Little struggled getting anything off of them. A very bulky utensil, feeding with it may have been difficult, but excellent for just chewing and teething relief during meal time.

Worked Great for Suddenly Fussy Eater
After feeding our baby solid foods successfully for a couple of weeks, a negative experience turned him off to eating from a spoon. My husband found these recommended on a blog, so we bought them. They were perfect to get our son past that "spoon fear", and eating solid foods from a spoon again. He's successfully graduated back to more traditional baby spoons, thanks to the help these provided. Would definitely recommend for picky eaters, or baby's not wanting to use a spoon!

Honestly Love this spoon.
We love this spoon. When we bought it my baby was just 6 months old. He didn't have the hand-eye coordination to get it into his mouth with food in it so it seemed that it wouldn't work. He is now 124 months old and we have made full use of it. We re-introduced it a couple of times until he was ready and now he has practiced enough that he can easily east with a regular teaspoon. He can carry the food over to his mouth and has figured out how to pick food up out of his bowl. Personally I would recommend it.

Perfect for starting solids
My son is 4 months old and we are just starting solids (puree). I was using the silicone coated spoons, but noticed that he would get more food in (and stay in) when I would let him chew/suck on the spoon. During one of my "rabbit hole" searches on Amazon, I stumbled across this spoon, so I decided to give them a try.First time we used it, he took it from me and didn't want to give it back! I'd say these are a hit and we'll be ordering more. I think they'll be perfect for teaching him to self-feed later on :)

The only way to get my daughter to eat,
A friend recommended these to me after I was getting stressed out about my daughter refusing food. She’s just turn her head away and get frustrated whenever I tried to feed her. Turns out she just hates being spoon fed and would rather feed herself.I just mush the spoon around in the purée to load it up and then hand it over. It’s a messy and slow process but she’s happy and eating.

Good spoons, great as teethers if baby doesn't like normal teething rings.
These spoons are very colourful and very easy for babies to grip and pop in their mouth and are great for help with teething too. We found that they were just a little bit too big for our 4 and a half month old to get in his mouth when he was trying food for the first time (only tasters, not weaning until he is 6 months) as it is a thick rounded edge. The "splat" design in the middle of the spoon holds puree'd food quite well and helps cover plenty of the gum surface in the side of baby's mouth. Good choice if, like us, you find that normal teethers do not work.

Awful smell
Bought this as I want my little one to start using cutlery and hoped this will be the safe option for him to learn how to handle a spoon. Unfortunately this has the most horrible plasticky smell ever and I can't imagine any food tasting good while eaten with this spoon. Had it for a week now and washed multiple times each day, tried soaking in hot water with dish soap and nothing seems to work. I don't know if it is just a bad batch or they all suppose to smell so awful.

Do not buy
Wouldn’t recommend at all. It’s too squishy and my baby and toddler both couldn’t scoop food on to it properly . I missed the return window as I was on holiday otherwise I would have returned it . I’d recommend the usual tommy tippee or bamboo bamboo weaning spoons z

Nice spoons but...
These spoons are nice way to introduce a toddler to the concept of eating with spoon...However they are good for the thicker food only while more runny food (such like soups) will simply drip through the middle part which makes them essentially pointless...In summary - great concept but with some evident flaws...
