Easy fix for Envirotemp water heater.
At least one other reviewer mentioned this working for their old, discontinued Envirotemp water heater. I ordered this based on their positive review. They were right. Most generic thermopiles available at home improvement stores aren't a good fit. This one is. Got an Envirotemp? This is likely the part you're looking for. It's an easy fix for the light to moderately handy. Saved me the cost of a new water heater. That's a win.

Works like a charm!
This particular thermopile worked fine in my AO Smith 8 year old water heater. The leads were the right length and voltage output in millivolts was the correct value to run the gas valve. Only time will tell if it will last as long as the original. I believe this to be a good value and would buy again if needed.

WORKED LIKE A CHARM!!
I have a Bradford White model URG275H6N, not a Reliance brand, but it was the closest unit to my existing thermocouple that had the crimped connectors for the overtemp switch. My pilot assembly had a nut that fit around the thermocouple and screwed into a bracket. I had to cut that nut off, gently open the cut to fit the new wires into it and screwed it back it. The wire lengths were just enough and upon install, my water heater fired right up. My original problem was that the pilot light went out and wouldn't turn back on. You Tube suggested the faulty TC and was right. Saved me a minimum $300 serv call for less than $20 bucks! I'm a Happy Camper!

Faulty Item
I bought this item with the hopes that I would be able to fix my hot water heater at home. I looked up what I needed and ordered what I thought was a new item. I replaced my old thermopile with the new one and my water heater still would not work. It wasn’t until later when I had no choice but to hire a professional that I was told the thermopile I ordered was used or faulty. When I went on my account to try and return the item, my window was “closed”.I’m not going to lie, I am really upset about all of this. I have never had a bad experience with an Amazon product before so this really sucked.

Fit perfectly, and works great.
This turned out to be the correct thermopile to fit my mother's water heater.I found a nice video on YouTube describing how to remove and replace the thermopile on one of these water heaters, and it was identical to the OEM unit, so it went in easily and has been working well for months.
