Bought this to use with Amazon FireTV and Kodi. Some Kodi features (skin specific) would be easier if it had a dedicated Play/Pause, FF, RW, and Stop buttons. Typing in search text is a whole lot easier though instead of using arrow keys to highlight a letter and then selecting. The mouse feature works great with the few apps that I have needed to use it, i.e. ES Explorer and OperaVPN. My biggest complaint is the battery life. I usually have to charge the battery after a couple of days of significant use (backlight dependent). No big deal since I usually throw it on a cell charger (micro USB) when I go to bed and it's good to go when I return. I think it could have a longer battery life though.

Though this product definitely has it's quirks, the one I noticed being that occasionally you do need to switch the channel in order to deal with interference from other electronics, for it's price and what it does, it's WELL worth the money.If you ever stream movies, tv shows, or anything off a PC, Laptop, Tablet, or HTPC then this thing will save you a lot of frustration when you're enjoying your shows. It even worked directly on a Samsung Smart TV so I didn't have to use the TV remote to scroll through individual letters to enter names of movies/shows.I've never noticed its charge wear down with moderate use, but it's micro-usb adapter would make that a non issue.

I was hoping this was the answer for my htpc controller needs, but this is too buggy to be reliable. The trackpad doesn't recognize my swipes 30% of the time.Sometimes I will press one letter on the keypad and it will enter numerous letters instead. I have to turn it off a handful of times to get it to stop.Great idea. Perfect form factor. Just a mediocre, at best product. I will probably toss this and go back to my Logitech K400.

This does what I wanted. I needed a backlit keypad remote for my android tv box, and this does the job. Just like other wireless remotes at this price, it does have the distance issue where the cursor becomes wonky, but I am really pleased with the way the keypad is backlit. Every key is clear and bright. I had a previous that had the novelty of changing colors but not all the keys were lit and it was basically useless. This one does not have that gimmick and is totally functional. One thing I do notice is that if the backlight is on and used constantly, the battery doesn't really last as long. This sleep function does work well and the keypad does remember that the backlight is off upon waking up.Another thing that was different about this one is that it doesn't have the media keys other than volume up and down. Its not a deal breaker, but I do have another keypad that has those and it made it convenient if you are using Kodi.The other thing I do like are the trigger left and right mouse buttons that are on the respective top corners of this keypad. They are very functional. I use them constantly for scrolling with the touchpad instead of doing the double finger which I hate.Overall I am very please with this product and would recommend it.

Where do you put the paper in? Guess I will use it to control my home theater.

I received my H9 Mini Keyboard on 2/10/17 and it worked great. I used it 3 times, and then I charged it on 4/06/17, after charging, it would not pair again. Very disappointed as it started out so well. Very bright, we'll lit keyboard and strong signal. I give it 5 stars for initial use but it should work longer than 3 uses! Your results may vary......

It arrived on time but some of the buttons stopped working and the light stays illuminated indefinitely. It's only been a short time since I've purchased the remote now some the functionality is going, in short, some of the buttons stopped working. I am unable to go back to the previous screen or move upwards...sadly this remote is turning in a piece of junk.

I was using a full size RF keyboard with my Home Entertainment Center PC and wanted something that worked just as well but much smaller in size. This device fit the bill perfectly. It's about the size of a TV remote but is just as functional as a full size remote keyboard. It has a touchpad similar to a laptop touchpad which is very easy to use and left- and right mouse buttons.Unlike other products in this category, I haven't had any issues with signal distance; it works from any position in my living room. The backlit keys are very helpful as well. Note that there are "Function" keys that make certain things easier--for example, hitting Function->Enter does a Control->Alt->Delete. There was no need to install drivers, either--I put the USB dongle into an open USB slot and it worked right away, on a Windows 7 build.This is a great product that I would definitely buy again.
