This is actually a really cool and fun toy. My daughter thats 9 runs around chasing and shooting me with it. It shoots about 25 feet, and really accurately. As long as your NOT shooting someone at point blank range while steadily holding the trigger, IT DOES NOT HURT AT ALL. We even chase our pitty around the back yard shooting her. It doesn't hurt her, just confuses her why things are falling on her, I feel she thinks it's raining lol. Also we did have a small issue, my kids broke a small part on the toy. We emailed the seller asking to buy the one part they broke. They was quick to address the issue and send a new part. BESR CUSTOMER SERVICE PAR NONE! One more thing SOAK THE "AMMO" FOR AT LEAST 3 HOURS so they fully expand. If there not fully expanded, the gun will not shoot more then a couple feet, and will have many misfires. Better to soak in some sort of bigger Tupperware (like the ones packed lunchmeat comes in). If you must soak them in the hopper, put maybe a teaspoon full or they wont expand fully.

Excellent product, kids and adults have a blast with them

We bought this gel blaster for my sons birthday and it has worked really great. He has used it day in and day out since he got it (we're talking thousands of rounds by now), and there has been no issues. He also received two different larger bottom loading guns at the same time and one died on the first day and the other one was returned because it wouldn't load unless you held it upside down. While this one is smaller than expected it works so well and is easy for him to run around with and load up in his pack to take to the park to play with friends. I do recommend getting a few extra gel barrel rounds holder things. It charges quickly and we haven't had any issues with jamming as long as the gel balls have soaked for long enough. And as a tip, if you start the gels in warm/almost hot water they get to full size in about half the time. I plan on buying other models from this company, I just wish there were solid colored ones instead of the crazy prints.

I got this and took it at the casing, a wire broke while it was sitting around but I can easily re solder it.

Obviously you can pay as much as you want for these gel shooters but for this one for the price exceeds my expectations. It's about 12 feet from my back porch to the fence and the orbs hit the fence very satisfyingly. They even shot over the fence but there was no point in doing that. The shooter itself is a little loud, my son who is on the spectrum (mildly) is bothered by loud noises and this almost took him there but I think he just enjoyed shooting it so much he didn't care after a while. Definitely have your kids wear the goggles provided because of your shooting fairly close the orbs will ricochet if they didn't pop on impact. As an adult male it doesn't really it doesn't really hurt but for a 6 and 8 year old maybe. Fire rate is really good, again for the price. These are the only gel shooters I ever shot so I didn't know any better and I'm glad because these are great and didn't break the bank. It didn't jam on me at all, however I was more like tapping the trigger for more precise shooting, my maniac son and daughter were just spraying and never letting go (lol) and then it jammed but not at all often. A little tap and shake got it right back to normal. Been shooting 3 days now and works just fine

They jam VERY easily

We are having a good time with this TOY.! Easy to use and the water gel orbies are safe and when dried up shrink back down to original tiny size. This is an outside toy for us. We did some testing on the strength of this water gel pellets and happy to report they are very tame. Recommended for outside fun!!!!
