I highly recommend these when traveling alone especially as a woman. Gives extra safety protection cause you just never know anymore. Easy installation which is nice. The stopper will need batteries but, the loudness will wake u up.. which fine by me!

I bought these more for the door lock, but the pair was a good deal. The alarm works well, but oftentimes the door just pushes the alarm backwards. The lock on the other hand works perfectly. The door will NOT open when it’s jammed in there. So, the good is that it works perfectly, but the bad is that it doesn’t fit all doors. The gap has to be just right to fit and do its job. Probably more likely to fit in an older home. Great part about Amazon- if it fits, you’re golden; if it doesn’t, free returns.

I really liked that this came with an alarm pedal. Hopefully we won't have too many issues with it on our trip. There is a volume control on the side, but it does not work. It only has one volume available. It's really loud. Our son is of special needs and that is why we got this. He can no longer be confined in the pack n play. He has to sleep in an open bed now, so he will have more access to the doors. We have used the door locks in the past, and it comforts us. I hope we feel the same way about the pedal.

Great safety gadget for my girl getaway trips. Never really had any problems with anybody trying to pry into my hotel room, but this does give me an extra sense of protection. Also gifting, one to my daughter who is moving into her own dorm apartment.

We purchased these items for a cruise. The door stop didn't make a sound, even after putting new batteries in twice. Once we got the ship we couldn't get the door lock to stay put either. That was my fault for not checking them when they came in, because by then it was too late to return the items.

I bought both items in October. The door lock works fine, is convenient and doesn’t take much space in the luggage. I got to use the door stopper in one trip at the end of October. For my next trip in November didn’t work. When I got back home I tried multiple battery brands, didn’t work.

Very effective! The alarm is loud enough to call attention to the entire house, regardless the room youre in. It's easy to install and use. the design is very small and compact so it's also very easy to transport. It is sensitive so it doesn't take much for it to go off, which leaves no room for anyone to even slightly leverage themselves into your home.

I do a lot of traveling domestic and international. Some areas that I’m booked in are 👀I tried out both out on my front door which has hardwood flooring and my office that has hardwood flooring.Flooring wise zero issues getting the wedge alarm to stay in place. Even on low, it’s still pretty loud. This will be perfect for hotel rooms.The locking guard does work. Just takes a moment to install correctly. This will also be good for either home or hotel rooms.I ended up purchasing two sets so I could give one set to my daughter in law for when she travels. She loves them and so glad she doesn’t have to use a chair against the door anymore.
