It is very warm just on its own but if you want even more warm just slip an old quilt inside the cover and you will be super comfortable, the furry side is very soft and warm too, the other side of it is like microfiber or velvet soft feel to it. And it is romantic for those nights too. And looks and feels amazing.

where was the product made/manufactured?

Not sure exactly. But I would not recommend buying. This looks amazing at first but the fur gets on everything. After washing the fur loses its fluffy ness and isn’t appealing at all.

How does this comforter hold up with pets? I have 3 cats that love to sleep on my bed. Will this be a problem with their claws?

I have the same situation but never gave it a try. I roll it down at night. They do sleep on it during the day and I've never had a problem with any unraveling.

A unique duvet that sort of looks like 1970's shag carpet, but is much softer. Kind of reminds me of what a giant 'muppet' would be made from. Very snuggly and cozy feel. Our two cats love sleeping on it too.
