This mattress bag was great when moving out queen bed out to the storage shed. Material was very thick and strong, so made it easy to put it on the mattress, as well as lift or pull it by the bag. The mattress was mainly slid out of the house and across the yard to the shed, and there were no nicks or tears in the bag. For storage, we taped down the open end, for which there was plenty of excess to do this. When we opened it again after a few months for guest use, there were no signs of wearing on the bag, or insects or moisture inside the bag. Overall very pleased with this inexpensive product, which made job much easier, and provided the protection we were hoping for.

This bag is very heavy duty and seems much sturdier than advertised - it is the thickest and nicest 5 mil plastic we have ever seen. We are using it to cover a twin mattress that will be transported in the back of our (mostly) work truck. It appears to be well suited to the task (keeping the mattress clean and being thick enough not to tear or rip en route). It was easy to unfold and put on the mattress since it is very roomy. We plan to use removable (paint) tape to seal the overlap so that the tape removal will be easy and not damage the plastic. It doesn't appear that any kind of tape will damage this heavy duty plastic but it is our personal preference to be able to remove all the tape and fold the bag for future use once the mattress move is completed. This bag seems sturdy enough to be used many times long into the future.

I bought this to transport my memory foam mattress. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and I would buy it again. The plastic is thick enough making it really, really hard to puncture and this is good for your mattress. Especially if you're moving to a new home you'd likely care about this more than if you were simply storing your mattress in the garage and won't be moving it (or other people roughing it around in a moving truck). There were no petroleum odors or smells of plastic and my mattress didn't have any odor after my all day move. So that's nice. The only thing I wish this had though was nice thick plastic handles to make moving the mattress easier. Since I was moving a memory foam mattress I had a hard time because the mattress flops around since there's no metal in it to make it stiff. I had to take paracord and wrap it around the plastic-wrapped matress and tie it off so I have somewhat of a handle. Would definitely buy again, hopefully by then the manufacture finds a way to incorporate handles to make moving easier.

This worked out well, after moving we have two extra matrasses that the kids use when they have sleepovers, and this cover is perfect for keeping them dust-free and clean in the garage between usages. The thickness is better than I expected, it feels nice and thick and should last several years.

Phase 1 is packing my mattress and box spring into these protective plastic bags and storing them in a self-move container for a few months. It was easy to slide the mattress and box spring into the bags. My mattress is Queen Size, and it is pillow top on both sides. It is 12 inches deep and the bag cover was about 15 inches deep. The bags were generous in size, and allowed for ample closure using clear packing tape. The size of the bags was perfect and there were no problems whatsoever. Phase 2 will be to remove the stored mattress & box spring from the storage container and bags in a couple of months. I will report on Phase 2 sometime in the near future. UPDATE for Phase 2: The mattress and box spring made it through the move undamaged! They remained dry, clean, and totally unscathed during the 850 mile transport and 6 week stay in the storage container. Highly recommend this product.

This queen size mattress moving bag is actually much thicker than I expected. It was very easy to slip over the mattress, and I use shipping tape to seal it up. I'm using this to protect a mattress that's in great shape I'm donating. However if you were using it just to move the mattress, it could easily be removed and reused over and over in my opinion. Excellent product and well worth the asking price. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The material was thick and appeared to be high quality. My box spring has plastic reinforced corners and as soon as I got it into the bag it already tore a hole in the plastic. We had trouble fitting my boxspring around a corner to get down the stairs and the bag got destroyed during that time. Our stairs are smooth laminate with no sharp edges. The bag covering the mattress only got a little torn going down the stairs. Bringing my mattress up the stairs in a difference house, I grabbed a bunch of plastic in each hand and made sure not to dig my finger tips into the plastic. As soon as I pulled to bring it up the stairs my fingers went right through the plastic. If you have a wide open area where it does not have to be dragged and it will be easily placed into a moving truck, I'm sure this bag is great. However, I was hoping the bags would last me another move in 2 months. I think I'll just buy the expensive usable ones.

Good quality, heavy duty plastic use them for mattresses we use a few times a year and are stored in a basement. the tape is coming off without ripping the plastic after two uses.
