If you follow the chart by measuring your body the vest will fit comfortably. Weight doesn't matter for fit, only proportions matter. I am so glad I followed the chart. If you want to layer it with a thick sweater, size up. This is an excellent vest if you live in a climate that doesn't get below 40 degrees in the winter. It is thin, stylish and comfortable. I agree with most that the inside collar should be a solid neutral color not plaid and that the pockets are not useful to secure anything. Outside of that it is a very fashionable vest and is excellent for camping, hiking or general walking around.

Love this! It’s so soft and warm (I’m one of those ppl that are hot natured) Looks great, gotten tons of compliments. There is nothing I don’t like about this cold weather vest!

Love the color, what you see in the picture is the actual color.My favorite thing is the hood doesn't need the drawstrings pulled when you have the zipper fully closed. It's not a deep hood but enough to cover a little past the hairline. Fit was close enough to keep my ears and neck warm while out this evening in 45 degree weather. (I don't do well in the cold)Sleeves are a little long for me but I expected that being only 5'2" tall.The length in the front falls just below the hip and back length falls about mid thigh.Overall it's roomy but not bulky, sturdy but not restrictive, warm but not stifling.I docked 1 star since the opening for the slash pocket on the right side is smaller than the left side.

I love this vest. I found a flannel shirt that matches and am so warm. Works great for warmer Michigan days when I don’t quite need my big, bulky winter coat. Quality is good and has washed up nicely.

smaller than a "usual" XL - wouldn't zip up

Absolutely lovely vest BUT runs very small. I wanted some looseness so could wear a sweater underneath. Wonderful soft, silky fabric. It seems to be more decorative than provide warmth in cold weather. Very nice details with toggles, zipper, and snaps down front and opening. Deep nice pockets.Ordered an XL which seemed like a 10-12.

I bought this for my sister, it has a flattering look- a bit pricey but I’d buy again.

I read the reviews before I bought I’m kinda glad I did. I wanted a vest that was good for fall where I can put a hoodie underneath and walk the dog. This is it. I got a M on purpose. It is big enough to fit my largest bulky hoodie underneath and I can still do up the vest and have room still. I like this. I would have gotton a S if I wanted it more form fitting but even then I feel it would have been a little big. So whatever your looking for this is it. The vest is poly fill and very light. Perfect for fall ( I live in Canada so our winters are cold cold won’t wear it then) the pink is a dusty pink. I’m a red head and it looks great on.Read reviews. I’m glad I did!!

Not bulky, can fit nicely under coats or over a thin sweater. Fits to size on body. If you want to wear over warm heavy sweaters or thin jackets I would go up a size. Like it. very attractive and earthy.

The rusty maroon is not as rusty as in the picture, more vibrant burgundy. Fits large, I ordered the large at first as my other legendary whitetails clothing is a large but had to exchange for a medium in this one. Light weight, pretty thin, works for what I need it for but wouldn't recommend for hardcore outdoor use.

I received my vest, today. I’m very happy with it. Vests are usually used for layering and this one is perfect for that purpose. I heeded the advice in the reviews of previous buyers and went down a size. I am glad I did. I normally buy a M but purchased the S. Others commented that the vest material seems cheap. I like the feel of the fabric and think the embellishments add a nice touch. This is a style vest. If you need a garment for intense outdoor spring/fall activities you’ll need a down vest purchased at 3 - 4x the cost. This vest is a very good value for what you get and for its purpose.

This vest came in handy so many times during our fall hikes in the Rockies. Lightweight and very warm, the vest rolled up easily into my back pack for quick and easy storage as the day progressed and the weather became warm.
