le: Excellent Lighting Kit for Beginners and Professionals
I purchased the Skytex Softbox Lighting Kit (2Pack) to improve the quality of my photos and videos, and I’m very impressed with its performance. The 20x28-inch softboxes provide excellent light diffusion, eliminating harsh shadows and delivering even lighting—perfect for portrait photography and video recording. The 85W LED bulbs are a big plus. The adjustable color temperature range (2700K to 6400K) makes it easy to create different moods depending on the project. Additionally, the E27 socket is standard, so replacing the bulbs is simple if needed.Assembly was quick and straightforward; the instructions are clear, and the equipment is lightweight, making it easy to transport. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the materials, especially considering the price.Overall, this is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a complete, versatile, and affordable lighting kit. I’d recommend it to both beginners and professionals who need a portable and reliable solution.Definitely a great purchase!

Perfect for virtual meetings, even if you wear glasses! Exceeded my expectations.
I got this version: Skytex Softbox Lighting Kit(2Pack), 20x28in Soft Box | 85W 2700-6400K E27 LED Bulb Continuous Photography Lighting, Photo Studio Lights Equipment for Camera Shooting, Video Recording.I love everything about these lights. I was looking for lights to use for Zoom (or virtual) meetings and in particular, for interviews. I tried several other typical virtual meeting lights, like ring lights and other pc friendly lights and nothing was working for me. A big part of the reason was that I wear glasses and all those other more portable lights were reflecting directly off my glasses, not to mention, weren't actually lighting my face in any way that made much of a difference.Let me tell you these things are perfection. First, they were easy to set up, all the pieces were there, there are several videos that help you set them up, everything worked as expected. They are fully adjustable with height, angle, every which way. They are also adjustable with color from warm to cool. And the brightness is adjustable too. Fully customizable for every scenario and every function worked. On a personal note, I will also add that I can use just one of these directly in front of me (behind my computer screen) and this light works better than any filter ever would. Removing all the shadows from my face instantly removed all the lines and imperfections in my face. I'm not exaggerating when I say, I look 10 years younger when I use this light! I even have the beginnings of sagging jowls (like marionette lines) and this light erases them. I could not be more thrilled with this light. Zero issues and all the magic.I'm so glad I gave these a shot, they have FAR exceeded my expectations!Oh, and for glasses, you can use both lights, one from each side of your computer, to avoid any glare, but I love the result of how my face looks with the one light directly in front of me so I use one light right behind my computer screen, a tiny bit higher that my head and just a little tilted down. Experiment with what height and angle works best for you though. To avoid the glare on your glasses you just need to practice not looking up too high over your computer where your glasses will catch the reflection. I got used to it very quickly. But I'll also say sometimes I use this for meetings where it just doesn't matter and my glasses catch the glare and it doesn't make a difference, no one cares. But if you are worried about the glare, the one light set up works well for me and makes my face look fantastic too! Super happy with this purchase.I'll also say, after I made the purchase, I got an email from the company asking me how everything was going and if I needed any help at all, and they did NOT ask for a review. It's literally the first time that's ever happened to me on Amazon. I didn't even know there was a function where a seller could write to you. It was such a nice feeling. And I did NOT immediately write this review. I thought that was extremely nice of them to ask but then I forgot about it.But then I found it again because I had to write to another seller about a product question last night and I saw it in my box. The one single email sitting in that box where only one seller had ever asked me how things were going with my product in all these years I've been with Amazon. I actually wrote back last night and said I was sorry that I never responded (months had passed) and that they're lights are one of my favorite purchases I ever made on Amazon. And they wrote back thanking me the very next morning, lol. Just leads me to believe customer service would be great from this seller as well!

Great for recording in dark rooms
Here are the pros and cons of the Skytex Softbox Lighting Kit, specifically with 20x28-inch softboxes and 85W 2700-6400K E27 LED bulbs:Pros:Soft and Diffused Light: Softboxes provide soft, diffused lighting that reduces harsh shadows and creates a flattering illumination for photography and videography.Adjustable Color Temperature: LED bulbs with a color temperature range of 2700K to 6400K allow you to adjust the warmth or coolness of the light to suit different shooting conditions or creative preferences.Energy-Efficient: LED bulbs are generally energy-efficient and have a longer lifespan compared to traditional incandescent bulbs, saving on electricity costs and replacement frequency.Easy Setup: Softbox lighting kits typically come with easy-to-assemble components, making setup quick and convenient.Versatility: Suitable for a variety of applications including portrait photography, product photography, video interviews, and YouTube content creation.Cons:Initial Cost: Softbox lighting kits can be relatively expensive compared to simpler lighting solutions, especially if you're just starting out or have a limited budget.Bulb Heat: LED bulbs generally produce less heat than traditional bulbs, but they can still generate some warmth, which may affect the temperature in small or poorly ventilated spaces.Bulky Setup: The size of the softboxes and stands can take up significant space, which might be a consideration if you have a small studio or need a portable setup.Light Spread Limitations: While softboxes provide soft light, the size and design of the softbox can affect the spread and intensity of light, requiring careful positioning and adjustment.Light Quality Consistency: Lower-cost softbox kits may have variability in light output or color temperature accuracy across different bulbs, affecting the consistency of your lighting setup. Before purchasing the Skytex Softbox Lighting Kit or any similar product, assess your specific needs for lighting, your budget, and the space available for setup. Softbox lighting can significantly enhance the quality of your photography and videography, but it's important to choose a kit that matches your requirements and provides reliable performance.

Very useful and versatile
I'm quite pleased with the product. It's much lighter and less sturdy than my professional equipment, but perfect for specific needs and applications. I will probably order additional light bulbs soon, just to make sure the system will be useful for sometime. It's ideal for small-object photography and perhaps as lighting for streaming. The adjustable range of brightness and color temperature are great. The remote is a very helpful feature. For the price, a great value. I have only used the system twice upon receipt, and we'll see how well they hold up.
