Woodstock Encore Collection Verdigris Chimes of Earth Windchime

I have several wind chimes but this one is my favorite. Very melodic.

Had this in my basket for months. It was a want not a need. Then I bought it because its my birthday. Love everything about it. The sound is divine. They look gorgeous. Colour is my favourite. Good size. Well made. I think I will be buying these for gifts!! And I may need to buy some more for other areas of my garden 😍

Paid nearly double the price at a local nursery. It was so worth it then and finding this on amazon for so much cheaper meant i had to get one for someone else! At first they didnt think it sounded the same and was very disappointed, but once they sat down and actually enjoyed it they agreed it does sound the same.It is truly majestic sounding and i dont know how or why but its worth every penny! The lady at the nursery said shes had hers nearly 7 years and keeps it outside all year round (Seattle) and said it cooperates with the weather and doesn't age! I hate buying chimes and seeing the slowly fall a part and rust. I've never purchased a pricey one before and i definitely would purchase from this company again, anytime!PS i did keep the one that i bought local because its a precious small business and great part of the community, but i will not hesitate to buy off here for the deal :)

This wind chime is similar to one a neighbor has, and I was pleased to find it. I love the verdigris color, and the sound is perfect.When it arrived, the strings for the tubes and hanger were terribly tangled. It took me about a half hour of working with it to get everything straightened out. It seems like that isn't necessary. But once untangled, all the strings are intact and the chime hangs very nicely.

I thought I loved these chimes until I received a Bells of Vienna 36" chime set. I was expecting both sets to be somewhat comparable. Nope. In fairness the Woodstock Earth chimes do cost less. But, the sound and quality is about 10x nicer for the Bells of Vienna set. Well worth the extra cost.The strings holding the chimes on the Woodstock Earth set are thin and the strings look like a web. The Bells of Vienna chimes use heavy cord and a single string goes down the center of each tube. Much sleeker. They weigh about twice as much too.I gifted this set to my Mom. She gave them back to me. She said she couldn't hear them.I used to think Woodstock chimes were the gold standard for measuring other chimes. I have discovered they are not. They are made in China. The highest quality chimes I have found so far are made in the USA by QMT. The QMT family of chimes include: (Arabesque, Bells of Vienna and Corinthian).I would not buy these chimes again. I do not think the strings will hold up to YEARS of enjoyment.
