D-Mannose is amazing! And this brand is the best value on Amazon
This stuff is amazing! And this is the best price on Amazon for it right now too! The capsules go down easier than some of the other brands too.Got D-Mannose for a mild UTI. Wasn't sure they would work, but they did! So much better than antibiotics! And now I use three capsules 1-3 times daily to help keep from getting another one.But if you have an active UTI like I did, you have to take a LOT more of it to get rid of it (it's perfectly safe, so don't worry). In order to find the dosage that works, you have to do internet research, and most of the dosages are for powder. It's hard to translate the powder dosages to the capsules and many websites have it wrong. One teaspoon of powder is 2000 mg (or 2 grams) which is 4 capsules at 500 mg each (not one, or even three). Most dosages for active UTI recommend a teaspoon of powder (2 grams) every 2-3 hours in very little water, followed by lots of water after about 45 minutes to flush the system for 2-5 days until symptoms subside (and then gradually reduce dosage over the next few days). That's 4 capsules as equivalent to one level teaspoon of powder. And some websites recommend even more - 1 heaping tsp (5-6 capsules) or 3 grams, or one even suggest 5 grams for the first couple of days (that's two capsules for every gram - you do the math) for an active UTI.Because you have to take so much to defeat an active UTI, it can get spendy (cheaper than a doctor, and safer than antibiotics though). But that's why this brand is so good because it's the most cost effective. For maintenance though,1-3 capsules should be fine, 1-3 times per day. (I take 3 once or twice a day).Bottom line is, I will never be without this product again! It's a miracle!

Great product! Great price! It works!!
I get frequent UTIs. One day I got a REALLY bad one and I took this and was MUCH better the next day. I was so relieved!! I took extra capsules to start with and for several days after my symptoms cleared up because I wanted to make sure it was totally gone. Now I'm going to make sure that I take it every day and I never want to be without it so I'll definitely be reordering. No need for any antibiotics, just this D- Mannose. Great caring company too, would give this 10 stars if I could!

Best Product Ever
I finally have relief. I am so happy that I found this product it help me get rid of a stubborn UTI that wasn't responding to antibiotics and was on two different ones and tired of dealing with it. so I started researching different things and found D-Mannose and ordered it right away. I now take this daily as a preventative and will never be without. I will say take more if you are dealing with a UTI I took 4 capsules every two to three hours until I got rid ot it. take it with a half a glass of water wait 45min to 1 hour and start drinking a lot of water to flush out the bacteria. You won't be sorry just try it for yourself. Thank you for making this product affordable.

I think it works!
After reading numerous articles about the use of D-Mannose for treating/preventing UTIs, I decided to try a bottle. I used to be plagued by UTIs (starting from when I was 7 years old), but hadn't had one in recent years. Then all of a sudden, I was getting one every month to 2 months -- 5 in the last 8 months. I don't want to be on antibiotics constantly, and my urologist was suggesting that I take one antibiotic tablet each night as a preventative measure. So the last time I started to feel that "UTI feeling," instead of calling the medical advice line for antibiotics, I took 3 D-Mannose capsules with 1/2 cup of water. Then I drank a couple of full cups of water about an hour later. I repeated this 3 times that day and the following day. And amazingly, the UTI feeling disappeared. A week later, the same thing happened, so I repeated the dosage, and again, the feeling went away. Now granted, I do not have scientific proof of a UTI since I did not get a urinalysis/culture done. But I am very familiar with the feeling I get when an infection is coming on, and I definitely think that one was developing both times. So I am going to continue taking 2 D-Mannose capsules every night before bedtime as a preventative measure, and increase the dosage if I think a UTI is developing. I would give the product 5 stars if I knew for sure that it eradicated an infection, but since I can't prove it, I knocked off one star (no reflection on the manufacturer).According to the manufacturer, these capsules are made in the USA, and don't contain preservatives or the controversial ingredient, Magnesium Stearate, so I feel good about taking these. The price is competitive too.

This product works!
About a year or so ago I had a persistent bladder infection and didn't want more antibiotics, so I looked up natural alternatives (the cranberry caps weren't cutting it). D-Mannose was one of the things recommended, along with Uva Ursi. I tried another brand of D-Mannose first, a powder one dissolves in water drinks, but it wasn't terribly convenient, and while not a bad taste, just wasn't so palatable. It helped a lot, but then I found these capsules and they're very easy to take, have no taste and work very well. I'm extremely happy with this brand, and have ordered it at least two or three times. I would recommend that if you have a severe bladder infection to take both this and Uva Ursi for about four days (you're not supposed to take Uva Ursi for more than that because it can hurt your liver with longer usage), then continue with the D-Mannose. Because I was getting frequent bladder infections I now take one of these every day (I've not read anything that suggests there's a problem with doing so), and I haven't had an infection for many months now. Sweet relief!
