Matt & DanaPickled Spicy Smoked Sausage - Gallon

There is a review that says these are a great replacement for McKenzie (with a picture of McKenzie sausages). I grew up on McKenzie (in the state of Vermont), and these do not taste anything like them. The texture of the meat is similar though.Tastes a little like the smell of a damp fire pit.Overall, I’m not too impressed, and I love a good pickled polish sausage.

I love the sausages very much but since they changed there packing method out of my last four orders 2 came in with a cracked lid, one never made it past UPS, and the last order was fine. They use to pack in bigger box with popcorn packing material and never had a problem…. Just a thought…

They were just mush with vinegar and hot sauce. Nobody ate more than one. Had to eventually throw them out.

When I received the package, the vinegar inside was all inside the plastic wrap. I opened the container and there was no seal. The sausage was not good... STALE. I could not return this expensive item per AMAZON. I am totally upset. DON'T DO IT!!

Mat and Dana pickled sausages are a great value. I will order again soon.

Mushy. Not what I was looking for at all. :-(

These are absolutely terrible --- mushy and tasteless. They should be marketed as laxatives (explosive laxatives). The sausages made with chicken, e.g. Big Mama by Conagra or those by Wisconsinmade are far better.

They are good but kinda soggy
