I am a classical music fan. However, Whitney Houston had an amazing voice... huge unforced range Technically she was brilliant, amazingly well trained, and used that fine technique to sing expressively all the time. There's a saying that good technique is there to serve the music needs of a composition. This is a complete marriage of technique and expression... her performance will blow you away This LP set has a good tone to it... with the more recoent recordings towards the end.
