This android box met all my expectations, has a fast processor, but setting options are limited.
I expected some additional features, further to my last android box as an overall improvement. I guess the fact that it has a better high-end and much faster processor is a big take-away , being 4K enabled etc.I use same for entertainment and gaming...Great Fun !!!

Not Android TV software
This box doesnt have true android tv OS. What it is is a crudely made mobile android with a poor tv launcher. The playstore is the mobile playstore. Not the android TV playstore. What this means is you will not see apps made for android TV. And apps that you do find are the mobile version. Giving bad video quality for a TV monitor or TV.Another issue I had when trying to make it more TV friendly, when trying to change the launcher.. It will keep asking me if I want yo use the new launcher always or just once. There is a work around using dev mode and plugging it into a PC and typing in sone commands. But at this point im done with work arounds.I bought it because a newer android version, and nice appearance but at this point, since it is for my parents, I will be buying a much cheaper one that I currently use in my room and works great.Get a Transpeed instead.

Not fully compatible with Google Play Store + Apps
First, I tried to install "The Disney Plus" app the device recommended, that app wound up being a gray market bootleg with broken CSS. Then I tried installing through the Play Store, I was told my Android version was not compatible -- there is no way to verify the Android Version or update through Settings. And then in trying to run a basic search for apps in Google Play, I kept getting account verification errors -- despite having my account plugged in. All in all this feels like a product that got rushed to market with a ton of QA bugs under the hood, I wouldn't trust it with a credit card number.Oh and the big tablet remote thing didn't work out of the box. Disappointing all around.
