Q: What colour is the lining inside thd brown bag

I have no idea of name, it’s brown but hint of pink or grey, it matches really well.

Q: How long is the strap? Being larger than average I often find cross body straps are too short!

Hi, I have measured the strap and it is 52 inches long, I too am a voluptuous lady ( much nicer way to describe ourselves) and I use my strap as a shoulder strap, and that is 26 inches. Love this bag , it holds loads, looks more expensive than it was, and I get a lot of compliments about it. Hope this answer is of use to you.

Q: Is the lining fixed to bottom of bag

No and it tends to get caught in the zip, also beware - my bag smelt of rotting fish, it was nauseating. I washed it in wash tabs, sprayed loads of febreeze into it hung it out in the sun and after weeks it is just beginning to smell sweet. Don’t buy this bag, they treat the material with fish oil.
