A very good Connie Francis collection of the US and UK hits. I have to admit being a Connie fan, some of these songs I was not familiar with, so thank you Real Gone Music for putting all these in this collection. The sound is very good. It’s nice to hear Connie in these new cleaned up restored versions. A lot of the tape hiss is gone; the sound is clear and clean. Being a little younger I do not remember a lot of her earlier stuff and I have to admit that I am more drawn to her later stuff she recorded after the hits. There is still so much later Connie music that has never been released. Everyone seems to focus on her earlier hits, which I understand. The only thing missing in this collection is some notes. I understand that at this price, which is great, they have to cut corners, however I do miss the notes and some inside information on the recording, but this will do for now. I think whoever owns MGM vaults should release a box set of all Connie’s albums, like they do for Frank Sinatra, would that not be great?

I have always enjoyed the songs of Connie Francis. Some songs included in this collection are gems for me. The songs included in this 4-CD Set cover the years in which she recorded actively. This collection was created by Real Gone Music Catalog# RGMCD166. This is well worth one's ears listening to.

Having a compilation of Connie Francis' singles from the start is a worthwhile addition to my audio library.While the later recordings are readily available on other CDs, the overall content is unique.
